FUGITIVE JORDANIAN RAPIST APPREHENDED

On Thursday morning police apprehended an internationally wanted fugitive in relation to rape charges held against him in a foreign nation.

Pattaya, 6th of November 2009 (PDN): Chon-Buri Immigration Police yesterday apprehended the wanted Jordanian citizen Mr Ali Abdel Rahman Ali Dabash whilst he was staying at the "Mountain Beach Hotel" Pratamnak Hill.

Mr Ali Abdel Rahman Ali Dabash was a known fugitive from his home country of Jordan where he was charged for raping a young man, subsequently he fled the country for Thailand where he has continued to avoid law enforcement officers since January of this year. It is unknown whether this was Mr Ali Abdel Rahman Ali Dabash's first offence of this nature at present.

Immigration police from Chon-Buri province have confirmed that they where following Mr Ali Abdel Rahman Ali Dabash’s trail for a substantial time without success, however due to effective check-in procedures at the "Mountain Beach Hotel," (where a police check is performed on all their guests) they were finally able to track their man down. When the information on Mr Ali Abdel Rahman Ali Dabash’s location was given to police a warrant was issued by the courts allowing the Immigration Officers to enter the room of their suspect without invitation, catching him by surprise.
