    Canon Lenses

Does anyonde have an idea on the prices of these. Are they cheaper here than in the UK as i friend of mine who is asking.

I don't know what they are but i know he is a serious photographer.

    canon lens 24mm/105mm Lseries lens.

And if cheaper, is Pathip the best place to buy.

    Thanks

    Damn parsing filter,

    This is the lens

Amazon is listing it at ~51,000 Baht so it seems cheaper.

No, it would mean sending it to him from here as he's in England. I guess it doesn't really work out that much cheaper.

    Thanks anyway.

Still worth asking him how much it is in the UK. The Amazon price I gave was a conversion from US$ to Baht, things like that always seem to be cheaper in the US than the UK.

    Edit:

Hmm, perhaps not.. I've just been poking around on Google UK site and the prices listed range from ~ฃ724 (~41K Baht) to ~ฃ1,120 (~63K Baht) so if he can find one at the lower end it's not worth it.

    Google UK products link:

    Canon EF Zoom lens - 24 mm - 105 mm - F/4.0 - Canon EF

/bloody 56 Baht exchange rate, grumble grumble

I have one of these lenses, bought through Amazon UK about 18 months ago, paid roughly 1000 GBP at the time, so Thai price seems better. An excellent general purpose lens by the way.

I love it, it's my most used lens, although I've just got the 70-100 IS L 2.8 for 30,000 (68,000 new) and it's a real treasure.
