Do you have lots of photos and artwork on your menu pages?

I just looked at my menus, that I did as Microsoft Word doc, and my 4 page Western food menu is only 55.5KB.
Not real fancy, but it works and is easy to send to future guests that want to find out how much meals cost.

I have no doubt that if MM was to setup in Bkk somewhere....remember location location etc...then it would be a roaring success.

His pizza deliveries alone would make a killing......they are currently the best in Bangkok.....and i could get to have one more regulalry than the current position.

    And Chiang Rai.

Consistently decent food is hard to come by at a reasonable price. Plenty of Falang too.

    MeMock,
I will be there for sure when next down from Khemarat way. Th word has already passed to us Farangs up here. Rumour also is that you have "Aussie style" meat Pies. Is this true?
    All the best!

Well, I am sorry to say that the pies and many things are not true anymore.

Peppers has been through the ringer over the last few months due to a major disagreement with the business partners. This has resulted in some different operating hours/menus.

I am pleased to announce that we have come to an agreement two days ago and that we will be buying out the partners shares of the business.

This also means that because we will not have the support that we thought we would have we have had to seriously slash the menu. We have decided to stick with what we originally opened for and what is really lacking in Ubon - that is a decent breakfast.

My family and I are taking a week off starting tomorrow to recharge some seriously depleted batteries.

The shop will remain open whilst we are away for coffee/shakes/beer and cake and then pizza, no breakfast.

When we return the all day breakfast menu will re open and I am looking forward to adding a few more favourites and tweaking a few old recipes. Our classic pizzas will remain available to all. Happy New Years everyone.

These are the shop hours for the first 8 days of 2010.

    Jan 1 Shop open 8am - 8pm. Kitchen closed.
    Jan 2 Shop open 8am - 8pm. Kitchen closed.
    Jan 3 Shop open 8am - 8pm. Kitchen closed.
    Jan 4 Shop open 8am - 8pm. Pizza only from 12 - 8pm
    Jan 5 Shop open 8am - 8pm. Pizza only from 12 - 8pm
    Jan 6 Shop open 8am - 8pm. Pizza only from 12 - 8pm
    Jan 7 Shop open 8am - 8pm. Pizza only from 12 - 8pm
    Jan 8 Shop open 8am - 8pm. Pizza only from 12 - 8pm

Regular hours will resume on January 9 which are...
    Shop hours: 7 days a week 8am - 8pm
    Breakfast menu: 8am - 4pm, closed Tuesday.
Pizza Menu: 12 noon - 8pm, every day.
News is what someone, somewhere is trying to suppress - everything else is just advertising.

If i had such business i would wait a couple of weeks to go on hollyday as it is said to be high season ?

Eventually your main customers are Thai, but those as well come up in millions actually...

Anyway have great off days, working with the locals in this country takes the head !

MeMock... that is a real shame. The initial pictures are stunning - it's classy & has a relaxed ambiance. Nice job.

Don't let partners get to you. Use your skills to re-group & re-focus your dream. Hang in there - you'll be winners in the end...

Partners are not always an easy way for a business to progress, so be patient and you'll see the benefit of biting the bullet now...

Good idea to revert to your original plan...sometimes focus is the most important thing...

Happy New Year to you and the family Memock...trust it will be a fruitful one on all fronts...(oh, maybe not on the baby front!)

Thanks for the nice messages everyone.

Well the buy out of the business partners has finally been done. Funny thing is that it ended up being less then what I offered them 3 months ago.

We are still sticking to the breakfasts and pizzas but have increased the breakfast menu with a few more western options as well as a few Thai dishes to keep the better halves happy!

Pizza is now available all day every day while the breakfast menu is 8am - 4pm every day apart from Tuesday.

    Shop is still open 8am - 8pm, 7 days a week.

Nah sorry sabang, not enough interest to keep that part of it going on a daily basis but we are happy to bake pies to order if anyone is interested.

I will see if I have the new menu on this computer and if so will upload.
