^ I had the same problem last time with them, didn't think much about it. I have a ratio of 4.5 there so I just stopped seeding, plenty of bonus

Do any of you here know of or have any links to file sharing sites that have movie torrents with Thai subtitles?
I usually use btjunkie or isohunt to download farang movies but the missus could do with subs for the more complicated films.

    Thanks for any advice!

UK file-sharers to be cut off

BBC NEWS | Technology | UK file-sharers to be 'cut off'

The UK government has published new measures that could see people who illegally download films and music cut off from the net. The amendment to the Digital Britain report would see regulator Ofcom given greater powers to tackle pirates.
The technical measures are likely to include suspending the net accounts of "hardcore copyright pirates".
It is believed that Business Secretary Lord Mandelson has intervened personally to beef up the policy.
The Digital Britain report, published in June, gave Ofcom until 2012 to consider whether technical measures to catch pirates were necessary.
However, according to a statement from the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills released on Tuesday, that timeframe is now considered "too long to wait".
Stephen Timms, minister for Digital Britain, explained the change of heart.
"We've been listening carefully to responses to the consultation this far, and it's become clear there are widespread concerns that the plans as they stand could delay action, impacting unfairly upon rights holders," he said.
ISPs have repeatedly argued that it is not their job to police the web.
There is likely to be widespread anger over the tougher stance being adopted by the government.

You usually have to DL the Thai subs separately. There are a couple of Thai torrent sites that have Thai dubbed/subtitled movies, but the two I know about are invite only.

I am on Maxnet 3Mb Indy outside of Korat. IPTorrents are all offline(timed out). Other trackers are hit and miss although the trackers websites are working and I can connect to all of the tracker websites.

Also the Internet has been really hit and miss all week. I get the "Royal Thai Police warning at random, although hitting refresh brings the site up.

It seems Maxnet is experimenting with filtering or blocking software and is making a mess of things.

Doesn't seem to be working so well at the mo. With PB trackers not working I'm finding out just how many torrents actually rely on them. Just tried to d/l a load of e-books. Not moving at all.

My other favourite e-books portal has also disappeared. Anyone got a good e-book source?

I use this site a lot. It has a pretty extensive selection but it can take some tramling through sometimes.

    Hope this helps.

    Fast torrent downloads

In my (considerable) experience, you don't need a complicated Torrent client to get decent download speeds.

Try FlashGet - it's a download accelerator that can also handle torrents, and it maxes out my bandwidth every time, as long as there are a reasonable amount of seeds and peers.

Also, if you're suffering from sites being blocked, google "HotSpot Shield" and download it (it's free). You can turn it on or off, and it works really well, much faster than sluggish old Tor (a few adverts but you get what you pay for!).

The sooner they vote that fucking spiv Mandelson out of office, the better. He probably spends more time cottaging in the House toilets than the chamber anyway. I wonder how much he's getting paid to push this through?

Here's something which i found a few days ago. now its not torrent site and you can't download either with rapidshare, etc. its a scene group listing of new films releases.

so if any of your guys want to know when that fav film of your is due to arrive, you can see it in the list and see which group is doing it and no doubt find it on the various channels, sites etc

it might say VCD quality in the title, but thats the website name. has BD, DVD, vcd, CAM, screener
    VCD Quality

My friend uses Limewire to download mp3's but now they are closed due to a court injunction. What good music site should my friend use as an alternative now?
