Dog shit shoes....sweet.

First thing....I hate dog shit....second thing....I hate pigeon shit, but doable.

Third thing....no oak trees here that I know of.

So, need an alternative to dog and pigeon shit.....buffalo would be good, also elephant as both in good supply here.

Also an alternative to oak, one would think there should be a local tree that spits out tannins willingly

Joy just had a chat with the old bloke who's working on your skin. She asked about "shit" for tanning and all the other stuff.

His response, and my translation may not be perfect, was

"Tell the Falang to fuck off and leave me alone."

Seems reasonable........

In the meantime....I managed to find these...well not me, another member that is into leather got them for me. I do not know why he likes leather so much, think it is a bit kinky meself..

They were not as big as i wanted, but they still look good. The edges are rough and I thought I would have to trim them at first site, but on the floor they look ok as is....kinda rustic teepee look.

Our house looks like a squaws village now.

kids stole one for their room.

Should have left the head on em, like they do lions and tigers, with the lips curled up and teeth showing..Looks more authentic.

Besides that, it is called "Cow Hides" or "Fore Skins"
Please use correct terminology as it is confusing.
