I like the "2-buildings" concept! But why not put the maid room, garage, utility and public rooms to the street and the private rooms in the back - with the garden between?

Before I go in for my hip replacement I will try and get it finished and posted. After that I am not going to be able to sit at the computer for quite a while.
The family in the brief are dream clients for an architect. You can really let loose.
