Best actor voice- Richard Burton (with Albert Finney on his tail- Finney does the best accents)
Best actress voice- Bacall

Have to go with Goodfellas. Just watched it (again) the other night. Great movie!

Not a gangster movie as such, but Papillon with Steve McQueen /Dustin Hoffman is up there with the very best of crime movies.

I have to go with Godfather I as the best gangster film eva eva...

The Maltese Falcon is one of my all time favorites also...

Was just about to say Road to Perdition.

OK, how about Miller's Crossing. One or two uneven patches but 90% genius. Finney is amazing, and it is possibly Gabriel Byrne's best performance.


Speaking of Byrne, how about "Usual Suspects"? Gangster movie, or just a crime drama?

Donnie Brasco, with Al Pacino and Johnny Depp. It's one of the only films I've watched more than a couple of times.

I watched Public Enemies last night but I was so tired that I kept drifting off to sleep. I think if it was of any worth it would have kept me awake. Should I give it another shot and watch it again?

I will have to be yet another to give Goodfellas the best gangster movie role, Donnie Brasco was also excellent, only seen it the once.

Godfather I, II, however many there are - I have no interest in seeing any of these movies, no interest in the slightest.
