Simple salad,……..Green, red, yellow peppers, onion, pieces of chicken, coriander and spring onion with a vinaigrette dressing. Made it this early morning and ate it later during the day while traveling back to BKK.

Cheers Sharon, nice to see you,
Flobo say's Hi.
Hope you are enjoying yourself in Oz.
I enjoyed this light chicken dinner.
Two nice pieces, slowly roasted served up with
carrots, cauliflower, broccoli and a couple of pickled onions.
It was a French Corn-Fed chicken.
Really tasty.
All the women take their blouses off
And the men all dance on the polka dots
It's closing time !

I love broccoli... and yes, the chicken looks so tasty!
Say hi to her from me too and yes, I am having very very good time here, mate hehehehe...
a steak and chips.
but resisted the urge to have a beer, so drank a coke instead.
rice and pork
had a big one last night, still suffering actually.
Full English breakfast.
my Chalong (on left about 100m from the pier carpark) 45 baht special, rice, prawns, meat that was about 20% over my 'bloody hell this is hot' limit, a bowl of cucumber/beans and several glasses of water.
And I'll be back there tomorrow.

Let's called it brunch.
Hmmmm yum!!! I still can smell it.

Needs a sausage on there.
Watercress and cottage cheese salad with a few rashers of crispy bacon on top.

Meant to put this on the other night.
Not heard any-one mentioning kippers on here so far as I can recall.
Really tasty as well, she did a couple of eggs with them (scrambled) plus a big tomato.
Nice.
I like kippers, Isle of Man Specials.
You are certainly blesssed Mathos with the wonderful food you present to us on a daily bases.
Flobo appears to be a great cook and do you have a knack in the kitchen or are only a very good eater?

Cheers LT
Yes I realise how fortunate I am in having Flobo, in all aspects.
She is a really great cook. The grandsons especially all have their particular favourite meals and specials which she makes for them. Especially during school holiday periods.
Myself, yes I can cook. I don't cook often as you can imagine, but when I do, I specialise in some great dishes and I always cook the Christmas Dinner.
Next time I am cooking be it Christmas or one of my Steak Diane specials.
I'll take some photographs and give them an airing.
Oh I like cooking duck as well, nice and crispy,
with an orange home made sauce.
My problem is eating most of everything as I'm cooking it.
C'est la vie.
^ Well done mate............well done indeed.![]()
Ate lunch at the 100 Years Market (SamChuk), Suphanburi Province
Between the 6 of us (5 adults and one child) we ate:
Tod Mun Pla
TomYum Pla
Chu Chi Pla
Koong Krathiam
Plaa Tod
Rice
Little information about the market,…………
The old marketplace of Samchuk, Suphan Buri province, recently picked up a Unesco Asia-Pacific Award of Merit 2009, beating 48 other entries from 14 countries.
The Samchuk market dates back more than 100 years to when Chinese vendors first traded their wares along the Tha Chin River in central Suphan Buri province.
The market was vibrant and famous for its forest produce before being renovated over the last five years to meet the demands of weekend visitors. Today, it makes for a nostalgic day out with its timeworn wooden houses and delicious, authentic food.
Keep your friends close and your enemies closer.

I'd placed this post on my Lancashire Thread earlier on, but thought it may well be appropriate to copy it onto here.
Flobo was busy with some nice Aberdeenshire Shin Beef yesterday.
She cut it into nice pieces.
Put it into the pot.
Prepared some additional additives.
Onions, barley, mushrooms and some carrots.
All into the pot and placed in the oven to cook very slowly.
Cooking time starting off at 200 for 30 minutes.
Then dropped down to 150 for about five hours.
Tasted sensational with some pickled onions,
pickled red cabbage, broccoli, and cauliflower.

This was nice as well.
She made this on Saturday night I think, might have been Friday.
The day is irrelevant though.
It was 'superb'
Some really nice sirloin steak cut very thin.
Flobo left the strips of fat on until she had fried them and made a general mixture in the frying pan of onions, tomato's and mushroom.
Then she made a few baguettes up, served them hot with a cob of best Irish butter and stuffed them with the steak (cut into smaller pieces fat removed)
Weren't they absolutely fantastic.
I'm glad winters on the horizon.
Beats Summer Days and Turkey Roll Salads.
Not that there is a problem with a tasty salad, and these are really tasty.
But my preferences are more into such as the baguettes and Shinned Beef Casseroles.
My, my, my Delilah.

I'm swapping and changing tonight.
No problem.
Before I hit the sack.
This was really tasty.
Great food, beautifully cooked, and served.

We dined at the Devonshire Arms.
On the expensive side, but the food was delicious. The surroundings and restaurant.
Superb.
Flobo, went for the Whitby Fish & Chips.
It was good.
Haddock in a batter of beer.
I decided to take the lamb shank in tomato stew with beans and all sorts of fancy things.
I forewent the vegetables and chips.
