This thread should provide clear answers to those that still ask, "IS Jet really a woman?"

^ Hey, I used to fix the drains at my house in Thailand. And I've seen guys with bigger boobies than I have.

This is not phoney, it is old. Inside wires look corroded. Has a sticker on it that says Approved by the Hydro Electric Commision of Ontario.
The other lamp has that big lumpy English plug on it.
I'll call some of the local joints or maybe take them to Home Depot -- they like to help chicks.
Michael, as you can see from the posts here, the answer to the lightbulb Q would be one -- Jettie.

strangely enough I recently rewired one of those three bulb lamps with ancient wiring

getting the wire inside the tubes to the lamp was easy, just pulled it through with the old wire

making the connection to all three bulbs was more difficult as there was no place to wire into; it was necessary to twist the wires together and cap. Then the thing was too small to fit in the space so had to be redone

luckily the switch was on the outside lead which was easier, rather than built into the top of the lamp

if all the wires are there, you should be able to just copy with new wires

then stand back and switch on!
    I have reported your post

^ Thanks, DrA! Yes, mine has a switch on the base, too. But, even with your instructions, I don't have a clue what you are talking about. Could you come over?

Take it to Amorn, it is a Thai chain store for electronic repairs, I am sure they can fix anything from a light to a multiCD changer to replacing the individual led's in your LCD TV.

Only in Quebec, at the moment, but I hear they are expanding to Newfoundland

Have you gotten around this yet Jet, or do you need a Loomb style picture thread, fixing the lamp thing?
