    Sorry, but i don't know why you would want to build something like that in the first place... we don't have to think like the thais dooo.. lets use our experience from the west and the cheap labor from the far east and bring them together for something better.

    If it's gonna be used as a guest house/place for you to stay then just get a deal with the local inn and save yourself all the trouble.

    Go down to the local OR BOR TOR and you can buy some simple plans and then work on the sqm price depending on the finishes you like, 10,000 baht a sqm on an average, like someone mentioned you dont need all that concrete it would be like an oven

    I forget, there are quite a few companies in Thailand now make prefabricated houses the one I have seen don't seem over expensive

    concrete , like an oven very true our house at the end of a hot day the living room is 35deg.

    My Thai wife and I are thinking of building a two level house on a block of land we own in Bang Len just 55 minutes north of Bangkok, the block is only about 350 squares in size and we have 4 million baht to spend.
    Can anyone give us an idea of what sort of house you could expect for that ammount of money?
    As i am very new to this site we i am trying to find a good reliable building company to be able to build the house for us and can anyone recommend any local company or builders with good designs thanks.
