look at the damage to the car, does it look like a total wreck?

One witness is quoted as saying: "Rowan is lucky to be alive".
The Sun quotes a witness as saying: "It's a miracle that he managed to walk away from the crash. He's a very lucky man. The car was a wreck, really badly damaged. Rowan must be absolutely gutted."

These dick wad reporters need hanging. always quoting " one witness (unidentified) says Its a miracle that he managed to walk away from the crash", when in fact he got out unaided, and having the front seat in the center it can be an easy car to get out of.

Sounds possibly like some kind of fluid/oil/gasoline leak from the mid-engined car, spilling down on the rear tires causing Atkinson to loose control, and hitting hot engine parts and starting a small fire, just a guess mind.

Always thought he was very funny, glad to hear he is unhurt.
