    Idiots On The March

The G20 summit will take place in London next week; it has been the occasion for left-wing demonstrations across Europe. The demonstrators are a motley crew, including Communists, trade unionists, environmentalists, anarchists and miscellaneous others. The radicalism of these groups was on display, with free enterprise the most consistent target. These two are from London:

Bunch a crybaby pussies. Whada they want? Communism?

It's called survival of the fittest you dipshits!

It's remarkable that every time there is a downturn in the economy, these idiots want to establish socialism. They are not exactly students of history.
Check out this message: "We're all doomed. It's already too late."

The demonstrators are a hard group to conciliate, but Joe Biden is willing to try:
"I would hope that the protesters give us a chance, listen to what we have to say and hopefully we can make it clear to them that we're going to walk away from this G20 meeting with some concrete proposals," Biden said at a news conference after a meeting of center-left politicians in Chile.

"Give us a chance"? To do what? Smash the capitalist state?

    Material gleened from here

Joe Biden is smoking crack again.
He and the Messiah are waltzing into the whining capital of the world.
They only loved Barry as a black candidate. Now he represents the US.
Quite a different love affair now.

Whaaaaa! sniffle, hitch. WHAAAA! It's just not fair!

What the fuck was he doing there? If the centre is somewhere around Goebbels, then maybe but otherwise how the hell can he be described as centre-left?

Anyway, shame there was no riot. I was hoping for a repeat of the poll tax. All mouth and no trouser, anarchists these days.

    I'm here.

G20 will accomplish nothing. Just like the G8, G17, and Gee Whiz will be a bunch of politicos doing their kiss, kiss, hug, hug thing trying to convince us they have solved the world's problems. Then off to home to do nothing.

Good photo op for the doom and gloom nutters though. Really didn't have to have a big summit for that however. Could have just posted in Issues.

Consider. Regardless of your political identities or affiliation, and being tolerant therefore, think what our history {and current state} might be without protests and resistence, without demonstrations or rebellion, questioning and criticism. The political ideologies aren't {or shouldn't be} your enemies - but the universal system of establishment is.

At least they have the minerals to actually get off their arses and try to make a difference, unlike the usual suspects here that just sit at home and whinge about everything yet do nothing.

Heh...who's comotose? You wouldn't believe the numbers of folks who are rat-holing ammo right now. Don't know where you get 'comotose' there RS but nothing further from the truth. Just because Lamestream Media isn't reporting much on, for example, the Tea Bag Rallays doesn't mean folks are taking this 'new world order' lying down...

Suppose you could be right but it wasn't an armed citizenry that forced an end to the VN war or brought about civil rights legislation. Them signs and demonstrations are far more persuasive and dangerous to your average politician if the majority of folks support them.

IMO, there is an increasing number of people who believe "capitalism" as currently practiced is failing. Adjustments will be made to curb the irresponsible capitalist practices that have brought the world economy to it's knees. Label it regulation, socialism, communism or whatever you choose but change is needed.

As expected, you missed the twisted metaphore. A literal and linear thought process is most dangerous Boony. As are mindless Nationalistic apologists.

Problem is they didn't let it work - they stepped up and poured good money after bad. They failed to let the markets work, instead they turned socialistic ideas to bail out the bone heads on Wall Street - when they should have let them sink like they were supposed to in a real capitalistic system.

I'd not saying I support complete and unfettered capitalism, because a certain level of control/regulation is necessary - especially as it relates to things like protecting the environment. But IMHO the main reason we are still mired in the unknown is because too many people are trying to walk the middle ground on what to do with the failed/failing banks and other financial companies right now.

They need to go full bore one way or the other. By that I mean the government needs to eather bail them all out, our bail none of them out. Either prop up the markets or get the hell out of the way and let the markets have their pound of flesh.
