I'm not sure where this thread was supposed to be going. The Japanese hate us? Well many of us hate the murderous, small-cocked arrogant pricks back, so what's the problem?

Sounds like an acceptable status quo to me. The Thai hookers pretend to like them too, but really they hate their fucking guts, because their parents have told them what a bunch of arseholes they were and are. So that's something we do have in common.

Bringing up the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki recounts painful memories. The bombs should have been *so* much bigger.

Agree with earlier posts that they are generally not refering to westerners here, but that's not to say that westerners aren't discriminated against in japan - Americans being their less favourites. This is mostly because of the war, but also because of crimes commited by US soldiers currently stationed in japan - The gang raping 11 year old local girl caused a huge uproar a few years back, and simular cases and other crimes are still common. .
Hatred for Russians Chinese and koreans is also as strong as ever and this is also largely due to a large crime rate commited by them, aswell as the war.

Xenophobia is as high as most Asian countries, but this is understandable for a country that was more isolated to the outside world than north Korea is untill a little over a hundred years ago.

Atleast they are sophisticated and civilized though..
