You guy's are right, I say fuck it, let them go to all out war and decide it once and for all. it's been going on for 70 years now, time to cut to the chase and let the winner take all. Like in the victory of ww2 they signed the declarations and stopped the violence.

That depends on how you define the word 'nation'. It is possible to have a nation before a nation state. Many would argue that a nation of people can exist before that nation has a state. A nation state is therefore a state for a particular nation (again, if you believe it is possible to have a nation without a state).

All that is a bit of a pointless argument though. All states/nation states these days are invented: Israel, the UK, the USA, Australia, Italy, Germany, etc, all came to being/were invented not so long ago and, and many borders have changed over time. The world wasn't created with pre-set countries/states/nation states and pre-defined borders. They were forged and fought for, often through war.

Yes. and some over 1000's of years.--------------- Thai, Kmer, Laos, Burma. etc over hundreds of years. Its done, Let them have their home state and stop squabbling over who was there first. Islam came about in 6th century from memory, Christianity was 500 years before that? Buddhism was 2500 years ago and Judiasm was 1000 years before that?

Ask yourself this question. What provoked the Palestinians to do that?

No, not really. This slaughter is not in my name, or my Jewish Grandfathers either.
He would be equally disgusted. Not in My Name!!
I believe you and I have 12.5% Jewish heritage or less, not 25%.

This continued war is not about religion, it's always been about land. If it were about religion alone then the Muslims would lose because:

Judaism in the region - 4000 years
Islam in the region - 1300 years

It's only a metaphoric analogy, (a joke) ok.
    it wasn’t a good one.

I have to agree with Hermann here, sabang - this kind of crap puts you on the same level as npt/srgtslsd, Fatty/steady/Dill, Klondyke and Skidmark.

Why people like you, unfortunately, think Nazi references cut a deep blow to Germans is beyond me. There's a thing called Vergangenheitsbewältigung - long word, interesting process - that all Germans have gone through. History.

It's like someone wanting to, and thinking it clever and cutting, take a swipe at you for the attempted genocide of the Aborigines (Australian) . . . of Palestinians (part Jewish), murder of scores of Indians/Boers/Africans (you're English).

Yea, not that clever, really, is it.

I believe you and I have 12.5% Jewish heritage or less, not 25%.
Simple maths- my paternal grandfather was jewish. My other 3 grands were not, thus 25% djoo. That's genetics, but as far is heritage is concerned i would say a lot less than 12.5% because i was not brought up in the jewish tradition. No bar mitzvah, no synagogue, not even snipped.

unfortunately, think Nazi references cut a deep blow to Germans is beyond me.
The rise and fall of the Third Reich offers a salutary lesson for far more people than Germans, obviously. Modern Israel being a prime example. The fact however that HTG is a Nazi is beyond reasonable dispute...

Biden Says 'Israel Has a Right to Defend Itself' Amid Conflict
Hadn't the Germans a right to defend themselves when being attacked by the angry population in the occupied Europe and Russia?

My uni degree is a major in Economics and my maths sucks . . . so, I tried. Simple isn't simple or me when it comes to maths

My point still stands, being like a drunk Brit chav and goon about WW2 is weak and ineffective. Is Hermann a Nazi? I doubt it. Is he allowed to not like religion, be it Judaism, Christianity or Islam . . . or ideology like Zionism 'despite' being German? Of course, that's a non-sequitur.

    Calm down dear, calm down.

    It's all fake news allegedly:

‘Look in the mirror’: New York Times ripped for warning about ‘deadly misinformation’

    14 May, 2021 15:10

"The New York Times was ridiculed this week after warning that “misinformation” about the recent Israeli-Palestinian conflict could prove deadly, with critics pointing out the newspaper’s own history of fake news.
“Misinformation about the violence between Israelis and Palestinians has run rampant on social media,” the newspaper declared on Twitter, pointing to an article by reporter Sheera Frenkel which highlighted some examples.

How Lies on Social Media Are Inflaming the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict - The New York Times

The Times also warned that the “effect of the lies could prove deadly,” citing Israel-based political analyst Arieh Kovler as an “independent” expert on the matter.

Social media users, however, were quick to point out that the newspaper has its own record of misinformation, as well as biased content on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

“The @nytimes are experts at misinformation, so they know what they're talking about here,” commented one user, while another questioned, “Has the NYT looked in the mirror?”

Others accused the New York Times of bias in its Israel-Palestine coverage, and highlighted the newspaper’s history of misinformation, which includes denying dangerous radioactivity at the Hiroshima atomic bomb site in 1945, publishing a podcast on Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS) which was later retracted for containing falsehoods, promoting the debunked false narrative that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction, and “grossly underplaying” the Holocaust."

One wonders what other "news" NYT may find :

"Misinformation about the violence between .... has run rampant on social media",

    or

“effect of the lies could prove deadly,”

A tray full of GOLD is not worth a moment in time.

...and judging by your knowledge I would say a lot less the 1%, and that is undoubtedly beyond reasonable dispute.

This could have never happened in China, Russia or one of your beloved communist country, because they are always right.
Jeez, you are a smart cookie OhOh. Always finding the real truth and never ever having to debate about it.
