Thread: Subforum for Fishing Enthusiasts?

Several members are fishing enthusiasts and would like to see a fishing sub forum.

TD has a scuba diving sub forum.

Could we have a Fishing sub forum where all the various fishing OPs could be placed?

Trolling allowed.

it would attract more visitors and members

and we might get some great stories

Do we have enough anglers here for a forum ?

How about expanding it a bit?
Fishing - boating- yachting- etc
Anything on/in water

I reckon any future forum should be confined to sports fishing and exclusive of repeticious recounts of blokes winching in giant catfish in fishing parks. I know it is probably exciting for the non- sports fishermen the first time, but that kind of thing is like shooting ducks in a barrel. -- boring..... Theres a heck of a lot more to learn about fishing in Thailand than just tourist fishing impoundments.

Agree. A title for sport fishing. I do like to winch in those big Thailand river catfish though so let's not prohibit OPs related to it.

I reckon you are compromising too much there Norton.

Not sure about the rest of the world, but fishing is the biggest participator sport in Australia according to some resarch stats I read in a fishing magazine a while back.

I am pretty sure that even those members up in Issarn would have some pretty interesting fish stories to tell if allowed to go for it and not be overshadowed by the fishing park tourist stories.
