And just like that. Hey presto.BLD was once again free to roam the boards of td imparting wisdom and humour. Occasionally getting his posts deleted or even SHOCK subsection banned from non humorous mods. one appears to be as dry as fuck, another ones off with the fairies by the looks of things

Ask him. He might of changed nics but he didn't pretend to take on another persona. Still posted as the same guy. Does Mao eddo, luigi do that? No it's all horseshit we get enough of that from the media these days. How about a return to the banter and piss taking ? Or is every Koont to pc or woke?

Now given how excited tax gets about food truck night can you imagine the coincidence that I saw this add for Food truck Thursday on tomorrow evening!

And the sunset was particularly orange this evening.

    Water tower.

Pretty much every house here needs a bore hole and water tower for water as the city water is completely unreliable. However, bore pumps need electricity to pump water up (I think ours is 28 metres deep) and thus we had to add solar panels on the staff housing next to the bore hole. But solar only works during the day.

A bit of a palaver, but in the past year we’ve only run out of water in the evenings twice. Life in Africa.

There’s also a regular business for the guys who weld together towers on the road for buyers. Suppose I should get some photos of those, but it might excited Tax too much.

those amateurish thumbnails masquerading as photos of beer bottles, burger vans and bushmeat bbqs that you post are unlikely to pique anyones interest in the shithole you live and work in.

but you're getting no younger, your long suffering family need support so it's a case of needs must, any port in a storm i suppose. and the nightwatchman cum janitor job it is.

but honest toil attracts no shame willy.

so remember that when cyrille and the other naysayers have a go at you.

So if I’m hearing you correctly you’re saying you want me to post some slightly more upmarket events? Ok. Noted.

Had a little shindig/soirée at my place yesterday. It sure if soirée is the correct word to use but it’s all semantics anyway. I’m sure a teflr will be along soon to correct my enngerish. Started with some truck turning up at 08:00ish to offload a half dozen round tables and other stuff.

looks like a few local slaves preparing to serve tea to bwana and lady willy.

the barbed wire on the fences and the guard in the guard post is there to stop them ( the slaves) escaping i suppose.

..... and i thought colonialism was dead.
