Might be the time to head to the local dog pound and grab a couple of dishlickers so you have
reary to toss then in after the so-called builders turn the elect power on when it is full of water.
If the mutts survive all will be good for summer.
Rough as hessian undies that job.

I'm not sure Mendy would forgive me if I do that.

Starting to take shape now, Willy, and not long before you can relax, drink in hand.

Did you ever find out what the issue with the wall was?

Exactly, I'm looking forward to some G&Ts while sitting in the pool. But maybe I should swap it over to some Moscow Mules, cos you know.

The old "the workers mixed the concrete wrong while I wasn't watching them' story from the contractor. But I'm paying for a product not a daily rate, so his cost to rectify and fix. the only issue for me is not being in the pool now during October, while it's hot.

From what I recall about my pool build the mini concrete truck arrived with the requested amount of cement then they poured about 10. 20litre bottles of a sealant to the mix. Let it spin round and round for an hour then poured the floor. 2 lao blokes in gum boots to smooth it out but they had some kind of agitator contraption to get rid of the air bubbles in the pour.
Most people are Kunts.dont believe me? Next time you see a group of people. Shout out OI KUNT watch em all turn around.

I imagine a G&T works out well in the Cu mugs.

Pool cruising right along. Order up a float tube now so you are ready. I wouldn't recommend a pink Flamingo.

And they have cleaned up all the rebar and bags of cement etc in my drive, oops, I mean the drive of the African boarding school that I am allegedly a caretaker of…

but leaving out the tools? My old man would have walloped me for that, back in the day. Seems workers today don’t respect their tools.

    ^^That's not a tool that's a voodoo doctors brush.

Which reminds me, are you going to get the pool blessed by the local voodoo headman as is the tradition in that part of the world.
He even does a special dance.

You need a whopping big screen with the egg ball on as well as a fridge full of cold ones!!
    Shalom

They’re also working on the block work surrounding the pool.

But I’ve also uncovered this spectacularly neat pop up sprinkler work…

and when the electric team put on the cable they half buried a random block too, god knows why. And btw does anyone know the cost of electric cables? They’re damn expensive, as in several hundred dollars expensive.

i know its not your gaff but i'd want to ensure they don't concrete in pipes etc, i thailand the love burying pipes, which leak either because they forgot to glue them or some other installation fuk up and then have to get a kango or jack hammer out to expose them. i'd want some for of easu access.
