Some right stunning slappers in the air and they all marry into money.
Tbf why else would a bimbo get a job serving tea or coffee for minimum wage if it wasn't to get the undivided attention of a wealthy businessman...
^ My wife asked why I was laughing. The most disturbing Dill photoshop yet and she was so close to walking over to see what it was.
^ He's obviously got some issues.
'RJ'... Royal Jordanian?
A spoon like that would make a very nice addition to my collection...
Things can get a little boring when we're inspecting these long export pipelines. We have around 50km left until we get to the Germain landfall so when I start my next shift we should have completed Europipe I and be working our way back out to sea on Europipe II. Europipe II looks very similar to Europipe I, but is a few years younger and I think 42" diameter instead of 40".
In the meantime I decided to check on my boulder.
If anyone read my last work thread they may remember that I collected a 25kg glacial boulder that had become wedged in a dredging machine, and so was brought back to deck to unblock the tube.
After this boulder had been gouged out of the bedrock on the Norwegian mainland by a glacier around 10,000 years ago, then carried out to sea and eventually dumped by the ice around 200km west of Bergen on an area of seabed later to become known as the Statfjord oil and gas field, it probably thought that its travels were over. But no... over the past year it has travelled all around the North, Norwegian and Barents seas on this boat and may end up going to the Mediterranean this winter.
I found it tucked away in the corner of an office behind a spare chair, forgotten about and neglected.
My intention was, that it could become a training aid but most people just seem to wonder why on earth there's a dirty great rock on the floor in the corner of the office
I'd still love to get it back to Korat some time to join my pond-side rockery but at 25kg that just isn't going to happen.
It is unmistakenly metamorphic. At the risk of using up my geo joke so early in the thread, I'd say it's really 'gneiss', but I'm still not going to lick it.

Get a $5 standard tea carton box or smaller
Put the rock in the box with some padding
Take it to your overnight hotel
Leave it in their left luggage cupboard
Tell them you're coming back for it
Then phone round some shippers to pick it up and ship to Korat
A teacarton can be shipped globally for under 70GBP I would estimate
Make it happen Mendy

From photos, cheeking it could also be an option.

Lyme post Office gone but Uplyme near the Talbot has Poste Restante
Heres an idea mendy. The filipinos in australia have set up a freight network called Balikbayan boxes you purchase the carton ( box) doesnt matter if its full of anvils or feathers ,then once the containers full they ship it. Its not speedy . Be prepared to wait months but its a rock. Ive heard that this service is so popular amongst the filipino diaspora that they expended to several countries, maybe even norway? I will google it later
Heres another thought mendy
Have a chat to randy the cook or the cute stewardess and ask them how to get your rocks off. Thank me later if the rock gets off
Would be fun to send someone random a 25 kg stone.
Where is the girly giggle emoji ?
Ive got filipino friends in perth they are constanly booking these balikbayan boxes to send to the phillilpines with whatever. It lands in manila but if you live in the province it still gets there. Amazing service actually
We have lost lots in thai mail.
