When so many different people in so many different times hate the same people, there is likely a good reason for it.

Israel's immediate neighbours act as buffer states between Israel and other Arab or Muslim states.
The buffer states, even Syria don't want a war on their land.

Turkey, Iran and other more distant states rattle the sabre, egging on the buffer states to act, but not much is going on there.

Although many in the ultra-Orthodox community preferred to ignore the winds of change in the Middle East, they learned a firsthand lesson on the Arab Spring - with the soaring price of lulavs.
The Egyptians halted the export of lulavs from El-Arish, causing a shortage and hike in the price of the palm fronds that are one of the four species of Sukkot. An effort was made to import lulavs through Jordan, but this was scuttled by the Hashemite Kingdom's strict trading laws. Shas then intervened, and tried to obtain a permit to import the fronds from the Gaza Strip, thus forcing the state to breach its own laws concerning the siege on Hamas. In a strange twist, Gaza refused to export 50,000 precious lulavs, and despite whispers that Hamas authorities were trying to disrupt the Jewish holiday, the true reason was an insect that wreaked havoc on the palm trees in the Gaza Strip.
This in turn prompted the Plants Production and Marketing Board to set a maximum price of NIS 30, to try to halt price hikes, but by now panic had already struck the markets. One company, Lulavi, issued a phone number, promising that whoever sent an SMS to that number, would be contacted by a salesman who would personally sell you a lulav. Farmers from Kibbutz Almog claim that Palestinians stole lulavs from the settlement's palm trees, in hope of a quick profit.
The four species market in Bnei Brak is the perfect spot to assess the lulav crisis. The market is, in fact, a dusty, shaded, deserted construction site. The heat is unbearable but the atmosphere is definitely upbeat. The merchants are mainly young and cheerful, though somewhat bored. "Flawed lulavs for sale at the stall across the street," jokes one of the merchants in his megaphone.
Many of the merchants try to lure me, by claiming that I could be their first, lucky, customer. In order to boost Bnei Brak's economy I finally buy a flawed etrog that resembles a fish for NIS 3 from some kids in makeshift stall.Everybody is talking about the lulav crisis. One merchant named Shai, explains: "Every year we have a different problem from a different source. This year it's the Egyptian revolution and El-Arish."
Nachman, standing nearby, responds: "If even during the Holocaust we managed to get our hands on lulavs, we'll manage this year as well."
Shai tries to explain to me the uniqueness of Sukkot: "It's a special holiday for all the people of Israel. Look at the arava (willow ), a plant without smell or taste, and yet it is one of the four species. It's just like the secular people, who are part of us. Why? Because they're circumcised."
Rafi leans back in his chair in the front of the market. He sells Palestinian lulavs, made in Jericho. "We couldn't import lulavs from Egypt because of the riots, so we brought them through Jordan. The Jewish people always find a way," he explains, and urges me not to hesitate: "Buy now, because soon there won't be any lulavs left. The same thing happened seven years ago. The day before Sukkot you couldn't find even one lulav, and all hell broke loose."
Moshe, a client, intervenes: "El Arish is over, they should all go to hell. We don't need them. We're no longer slaves of Egypt. And that's how it always goes: Esau hates Jacob."
But the Arabs are Ishmael, not Esau, I remind him.
"Ishmael as well. But the Talmud tells us the gentile is there to provide for the Jews. When the Messiah comes every Jew will have 3,000 Eritrean servants."
Shahar Aviv, who can be described as a lulav tycoon, is certain that the farmers in the Jordan Valley doubled their prices when they understood that they could. "Every single lulav will be sold. I knew there would be problems with the Egyptians so I bought lulavs from El-Arish last Purim." When I ask if it's moral to raise the prices so drastically the market organizers are quick to reply: "Of course it's legitimate. We have a free economy and the farmers in the Jordan Valley simply seized the opportunity."

Israel’s Museum of Tolerance: Zero tolerance towards Muslim dead

JERUSALEM - Archaeologists from Europe, the United States and the Middle East are calling for a halt to construction of a museum on the site of an old Muslim cemetery in Jerusalem, a US rights group said.
The website of the New York-based Centre for Constitutional Rights (CCR) said the 84 signatories, including Israeli and Palestinian academics, had signed a letter demanding that construction of the Museum of Tolerance should be stopped "immediately."
"The latest and most invasive encroachment on the cemetery to build the 'Museum of Tolerance' involved deep excavations that resulted in the disinterment of hundreds of human bones and other important antiquities in an unscientific and disrespectful manner," said the letter, which was sent on October 20.
The letter was addressed to Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat and the board members of the Los Angeles-based Simon Wiesenthal Centre, a Jewish human rights group.
"The planning of the Museum of Tolerance of Jerusalem has passed all planning and legal challenges, up to and including the Supreme Court of the State of Israel," Barkat spokesman Stephan Miller said in a written response to query.
He did not say if Barkat had received the letter.
The project has sparked controversy because it is being built on land belonging to the Ma'man Allah cemetery, commonly called Mamilla, which dates from the 12th century and is the resting place of several Sufi saints.
Descendants of those interred in the west Jerusalem cemetery say it also houses the remains of soldiers and officials of legendary Muslim ruler Saladin.
"The case of Mamilla is a travesty of archaeological ethics," said Tel Aviv University archaeologist Raphael Greenberg, in a statement posted on the CCR website.
"Mamilla Cemetery should be preserved as a demonstration of respect for Jerusalem's shared heritage."
