Hot and humid in downtown Bangkok. Had some very heavy rain this morning...and of course this happened....

    TAN_Network TAN News Network

ASTV: Rain showers that hit various parts of Bkk since the early morning have caused at least 49 accidents, widespread traffic jams

Some quite impressive bits of cars strewn about this morning...

Now it is still grey with the occasional brief appearance of the sun....muggy.

Typical start to a Perth summer.

Nice and warm but step outside and one gets blown over by 30 klm hour sea breezes.

Absolutely foked unless one is riding a kite board.

Back on the big bird mid January so who gives a fok Eh.

    Meanwhile back in Britain

The second Big Freeze of the season will put the country on course for a winter even colder than the notoriously treacherous 1962-63. Unlike during the first cold spell, this week’s snow will be accompanied by winds from the North Pole of up to 50mph, which could build giant snowdrifts
    THE GREAT FREEZE OF 1962/63

One of the coldest winters on record, the Great Freeze of 1962/63 got under way at Christmas - and kept its icy grip on Britain right the way into March.

A pox on them perhaps, yet presently the reality would show us that if the Chinks die so goes the world.

    We'll see mate, we'll see.

I think this one will be a far greater game as both teams will take 20 wickets and it just comes down to who [plays the wicket better and scores quicker.

Oh and a lot of the team picked play for WA which is a major bonus for us
