Geneva is great!! To live in this wonderful, multicultural city is wonderful. I have been here for 37 years and still find things to see and love. OK, there are bad points - but what city doesn't have those. Getting cold and windy and wet, but the heating has come on. Cat is lying on the radiator as i type.

I do not like bitter people. They can take a flying leap... The way that men can sometimes treat females is an ongoing thing. It happens, it happened to me. But life goes on. I went through 10 years of physical and mental abuse, but i got out of it.

An experiment: Ask your local apologist why the majority of so-called moderate Muslims do not take to the streets en masse to denounce not just acts of Islamic terror but also other less violent forms of Jihad. Most will tell you it is fear, which when you think about it instantly defeats their own hollow defence of Islam though they will never admit to this. But that's not the point; the point is if they are right it doesn't bode well, but if they are wrong then the implications are far worse.

Have you ever watched the film "The Magdalena Sisters"?? It's about girls who were pregnant out of wedlock in Ireland. They were sent to, basically, work houses etc.

The Chinese lead the world in executions, and they aren't Muslims, they are mostly Buddhist. The Buddhist have plenty of blood on their hands, look at what they've done to Muslims in Thaialdn and Burma. They Japanese Buddhist killed a boat load of people just sixty something years ago. The Chinese Buddhist have killed loads. The Cambodian Buddhist killed loads, and tried to kill off all the Cham Muslims there.

No, it is a spot on post. That is why you responded in the manner you did. Buddhist are oppressing Muslims, it is happening in Burma, China, Thailand, and Cambodia. If an Iranian or Pakistani who does something bad is considered a Muslim, why can't a Thai, Chinese, Cambodian be considered a Buddhist? Buddhist killed a lot more people in the 20th century then Muslims.

I was going to rationally respond to many posters in this thread, but I came to realize something. There is more hatred and ignorance coming from the people on this forum, than what arises from any Muslim that I have ever met. To be fair, I think religion is the scourge of mankind.
