Speaking Thai is a fun subject. Some 'falangs' will only learn enough of the Thai language to be komfortable. Turn left, turn right, one more beer please. Others will be more specific.

I kan speak Thai (sorta) (tam-a daw). However, when we were building our room addition, I did NOT know the Thai name for pilings, nails, roofing, toilet lines, pitch, salope, gutters, etc. I had a few problems...

To be totally at ease with the Thai language takes time and being 'jai-yen-yen'.

I aint there yet. Kow jai krap?
