Thread: Has Samak made a U turn?

I read a couple of days ago that Samak had said that the verminous PAD could stay where they were, were free to leave (gov house) but could not get back in once they left.
My missus told me tonight that he is now preventing them from leaving?????
Anyone heard the same...imagine the stench! They were apparently calling for help regarding problems with skin disease and dirty underpants..donations anyone?
I could send them some "slightly soiled" gor ga nors if they needed them.
What amazes me is that ONE person could come out and simply say "ENOUGH" and all of these yellow shirted cretins would pack up and go home....but, for some reason, this person has been extremely quiet over the past few weeks. It is almost like a challenge to the PPP. This is going to end in a horrible mess not too far into the future.

What country, what government would allow this to carry on?

If this was the US and you had 10000 people climbing over the White House walls, breaking in and stealing documents, I rather suspect there would have been a few shots fired by now, and even in the good old Nanny State of the UK, there probably would have been an arrest or two...is it the calm before the storm?

Is Samak smarter than I give him credit for...is he playing a game with those with the clout?

It is almost like a baiting game, waiting for the "special people" to push that little bit too far, and then all hell will break loose.

Or, is he afraid that if he makes a move against them that the army will step in again and force another coup?

I cannot get my head around this to be honest, where is the monarchy in this? are they behind it, or are they simply the pawns of the elite?

i.e. Is the King free to come out and stop this or, as I am beginning to wonder, is he only allowed to speak what they want him to speak?

Could be Samak doesn't want to upset the knob, though rumours suggest PAD have a bigger player or two pulling their strings, with interests far outweighing what may be best for the country and it's people...Just as well we have the unsurpassed wisdom of HM to call upon if things start getting out of control.

Agree totally, someone is out for a different agenda, and Samak, trying to be a PM, is trying to save face, when he would really like to "have a go" like he did in the '70's, but this time there is more at stake..he knows it and is stuck with it.
If he steps over the line, the army will move in and that will be the end of PPP for another 6 months.

The problem they have is, whenever the get rid of Thaksin, PPP, whatever, it justs begins again under a different name... this is the real problem here, they don'y know what to do to destroy democracy and return themselves to the the ultimate power..they are losing their grip, and they are getting frightened, like a rat in a corner.
