Jeeez...in 2000 when you crossed the railway line there was nothing down those roads, a few estates going up.

Pattaya Land + House seems to have fallen down the toilet last time I looked.

The Dark Side is an extensive area : Soi Siam Country Club, Soi Nernplubwann, Soi Khao Noi, Soi Khao Talo.....

I've never been to the "Dark Side" in east Pattaya. I'll be returning to LOS for trip number 3 leaving USA on Thanksgiving Day. I'm interested in exploring the pubs in this area. Can anyone tell me where the "Albatros Bar" is located? Can I get there by moto taxi?

Americans celebrate Thanksgiving Day on November 24th. It's a time to gather with the family & have a dinner feast of turkey & all sorts of food. It's a holiday so everyone has the day off work. I'll be doing opposite of all that feasting & celebration as I'll be on a 21 hour plane ride to Bangkok! Cheers!

went passed those bars last week as I stayed in Siam Country Club road during Bangkok deluge,

they all seemed closed down and seem to be hosted on "private" properties, basically they are private "houses"

I am sure behind the doors, it must be heaven, but last time I went there, it was at the Black Pearl and all we could see were 40yr old bargirls with naked hippies swimming in a pool, farangs who were not afraid to show their big erected cock to all guests in the premises.

We were not amused.

That's a fine tactic down on the like of Soi 6 but the best Darkside bars can't be reached by a simple stumble... A sense of direction and some transport is needed to effectively spread your seed.

What flavour is it?

The reason I asked about the Albatross bar on the Dark Side in Pattaya is there's several videos of this place on youtube that were made several months ago. It must be a newer bar since it's not on any maps I've seen.

Sadly the stream ceased about 18 months back after the owner, Lee?, was killed outside the bar in a motorbike accident.
