I was on the rig controlling the ROV, armed with a spinning brush, cleaning marine growth off a fairly depleted anode.

Anyway, that got abandoned real quick when I saw the shark.

I’ll upload it to YouTube when I get off the rig. Limited daily data allowance.

^^ Aye it’s a bit like a toilet brush on a motor. Just blasts all the sea life into the abyss.

I don’t have much photos here as can’t bring my phone outside to the cabin. I did forget one time though.

I’ve never been drug or alcohol tested for offshore jobs but it’s been pretty much guaranteed everywhere else.

I shot the video from a Saab Seaeye Falcon Inspection Class ROV (Remote Operated Vehicle)

    A Highland Fling-img_9971-jpeg

Unlike the picture, our one has a black and white camera and a colour HD camera, which I got the footage from then took screenshots with my phone.

We believe it is a Porbeagle shark which is often mistaken for a young great white. And vise-versa.

There is an ROV ‘game’ on STEAM. I think it’s free just now as it’s not complete.

    Now everyone can get involved.

Except me, cos I have a Mac.

    Found it:

I’ve never been drug or alcohol tested for offshore jobs but it’s been pretty much guaranteed everywhere else.[/QUOTE. it used to piss me off that a zero alcohol result was required just to get out of the camp. beer was available.and as long as I limited the consumption to about 12 stubbys of beerlao had a scran and was in the fartsack by about 8.
00pm the crazy thing was they were oblivious to the Laos all being on the yaba. Go figure. Anyhoo my boss was a good guy and liked a drink himself so. We had machines around the camp to test ourselves and if over I would just call him with the result and expected zero result. As long as we didn't do it to often he was cool with that

You can have mine if you want, sold as seen

£5K make the most of the remaining Summer

I'm getting a vintage Scooter as my second vehicle now, which in all fairness I'll use even less than the Saab convertible.
