It may not have been illegal, but growing calls and concern to change the legal age of consent are happening now in the UK because of these allegations against Brand. He was in his 30's, she was 16 at the time he sexually assaulted (forcing his penis down her throat making her choke) and emotional abuse. The guy is a piece of work for sure.

"Forcing" his penis down her throat is not consensual sex. Irrespective what age the person is, so therefore illegal in my opinion.

Sexual assault, rape, and emotional abuse are offences, so my point was that even though she was not under the legal age of consent, that is now being possibly changing. Read the article.
