    Jet ski scam nonsense

It has been awhile since Youtube recommended a jet ski SCAM video. You know, the usual SCAM where the jet ski operators CLAIM that you did DAMAGE to the jet ski and then charge you for some compensation for the damage that does NOT exist. Because you were a good boy and didn't actually get in an accident or anything. Right... that SCAM.

Here's his thumbnail for the video

And here is him and his friend getting in a collision with the jet skiis.

I know the guy flips the script at the end but this is how 99% of these alleged scams happen. It isn't a scam at all. Try brining a car back to the rental place that you damaged and see what happens

And some fuckknuckles in the comments are saying it's a scam because of how much they charge when you fuck things up. This isn't true. They use dealer part numbers and pricing and allow you to negotiate from there.

Tbf I never had a problem with the jet ski proprietors on Phuket.

Patong beach touts and owners were particularly helpful and friendly.

I spent a few month there in 2006 the year after the tsunami and they were happy of the rare farang company.

Managed to get a few free goes as well.

Neither have I. I've rented them a lot and never had issues.

One time I rented a scooter on one of the islands. And I found a spot in the road that was basically a ramp. I was jumping the shooter off of it. Turns out I scuffed up one of the fairings on the bottom of the bike. So I did damage the bike. He had a photocopy of the parts list and charged me a $100 for the damage. I was being an idiot and did damage so I didn't have a problem paying it. I ended up paying less than the replacement price. Do they order the parts and fix it ? Not usually. But that's besides the point. Damage devalues the bike.

Another time , the clutch cable snapped on a big bike I rented. I hobbled it back to the place and they exchanged the bike no problem. They probably knew the bike had a iffy cable. They could have fuct me around and said I wrecked it. But they didn't
