Thread: Swollen taste bud. Cut it off ?

Ive had this swollen taste bud for days now. It's annoying as hell.

I googled it. Some ppl say they cut them off with nail clippers with no issues. Others say it will get worse.

Think it has a system like the NHS in UK. You do not pay for specific treatment, but the service is funded through taxes.

After fully disinfecting the clippers , I gave it a shot. I just lobbed the top of it off. It stung a little. The most annoying and sensitive part is gone.

It's different province to province. In Brittle Columbia , you have to have a public insurance plan. In Alberta you dont. It's all quite shit

The lengths people will go to to self medicate in Nth America in the absence of a decent health care system. Meanwhile, here in Oz, I've got my health clinic ringing up and bugging me about when am I gonna use my remaining three annual 'cosmetic' type annual treatments they give you after 60. Physio? Podiatrist? Ears cleaned? Knob polished? I used two of the five on physio last year when I sprained my back slightly. It's over the top I tell ya.
