Found this "bug" yesterday near Bataan in the Philippines.

Khamong, Chanthaburi



Dam separates the freshwater level 1.2m higher than the mixed/salty estuary, when it's flowing the bridge and dam are lined with fishermen, I was told there's an unofficial limit of ten rods per person

In previous years there's always been two powerboat racing days at Khamong, January below the dam, February upstream based at Wat Khamong, but neither going ahead this year.

I saw two accidents on the school run this morning.

Well the first one I didn't see but saw the immediate aftermath after a tuk-tuk had continued driving straight on a left jand bend on the dual carriageway near us... taking out a motorbike coming in the opposite direction. Both were in a ditch alongside the road with two ambulances in attendance.

Then on my way back I was patiently waiting in the awful Korat traffic at a red light when a black pick-up rear-ended a little black car to the left of me...



... which in turn was shunted into a little white car.



In some ways I was lucky because this will have played havoc with the traffic behind. To be honest I'm surprised not to see more accidents like this as almost every driver you see are looking at their phone while driving through the rush hour traffic.

Is look at the phone worse than taking photos with it?

^ I would say so, when actually driving and in motion.

I see little danger in taking a photo while stationary in a queue of traffic at a red light, particularly when you know you have 90 seconds to wait.
