well, I am off to London tomorrow morning

I will be in the office most of the day, then this evening I am being taken out by my local friends

I have made some really good friends here, many locals but also some expats from all over. When we get back to Chiang Mai later this year, we hope a lot of them will be able to come up and have a holiday. AirAsia flies direct from KL now so easy.

I am a bit sad at leaving, but also happy to get away from this contract, a bit boring

I will also miss the view out of my window; I am in the famous Twin Towers, on the 67th floor. On a good day I can see Marilyn Monroe
    I have reported your post

well, I am back in London, feeling a bit jetlagged, but fine

out on my bicycle a bit, nice day, about 17C, perfect for a little ride

my daughter and husband came round last night - he was going to fix my boiler as the hot water was not working, but I had done it by the time they came!! so we had a couple of bottles of red wine and some Greek food at my local taverna

feeling a bit rough this morning, nothing a nice cup of tea can't fix, I hope

lots of thingas to organise but the jetlag makes me confused

    where am I?

I'm back as well. After having sorted all the laundry out, downloaded all photos and videos and got back into that thing called "work" can now try and post some photos. First got to work out how to do it .

Working 6 day weeks so this is my one day off and I am going to make myself busy doing nothing.....I really should fix the wardrobe as I can't hang any clothes up, but I just can't be bothered.....I may spend the day learning the rudiments of Photoshop.....or I may look into setting up Soulseek.....Football's on as well later.....oh happy day.

Well i'm feeling great. Been a busy couple of weeks but I have achieved everything i wanted to intime for my best mate and his family who arrive tomorrow for three weeks.

i will be working only half (or 1/4) days for the next 3 weeks whilst they are in town. Lots of travel planned and it coincides with the 'muster' which is a 2 week festival so lots to do. the day he leaves i drive the 8 hrs to darwin to jump a flight to bangkok to pick up my sister in law and her husband who will be the first family from the other side to come and visit us. The $5000 (150,000) baht garden make over is almost complete and i just bought some new outdoor furniture for the new garden and the dry (cool) season which is almost upon us.

    Cheers all.

Well, quite a good day all things considered. I fixed the wardrobe....well sought of, the clothes rail is at a bit of an angle but so am I most of the time. I read through some photoshop tutorials and managed to put a monkey's head onto Robbie Williams' body....I'll try out some of the photoshop tutorials later; didn't have time today what with messing about with Robbie and the monkey. He can't sing like he used to, but he can now peel a banana with his feet which I think is a fair trade....

I was reading an artical yesterday which said that the best sleep pattern was to wake up at the same time every morning, and allow your state of tiredness to dictate when you should go to sleep. This way is the most effective method to ensure not too much or too little sleep. I read it on the Intynet, so it must be true....I'm going to give it a try anyhows. I'll let you know how I get......ZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

there you are Marmite, you learn something new every day

I shall have to learn to put those important possesive pronouns or whatever they are called..like her or my

anyway today is a bit miserable, raining in the typical British fashion..cold and drizzly

I went over to my garage this afternoon, after the F1 race, to get my car started etc. The bastard battery had died so I will have to go down the garage tomorrow and get a new one. It will need an MOT too as it is now three years old, then tax and.......

another nice cuppa tea; now I know why the Brits like the stuff, it is very nice with London water (recycled pee)

Are we going to talk about fucking tea again??

I believe there is a tea thread, rightly buried somewhere on a bout page 27... you could always add to the 150 replies it somehow managed to get.
If ever a thread deserved a little bump.
