No skool for 3 weeks and just heard daughter's back in school in January.
Amen Armstrong. Pretty much a company shutdown from now until Jan 4. Did my last 2 calls until next year.
60 day extension and return tickets sorted. Wife changed return date to last week in January, may take a bit of explaining when I get back, I'll blame it on Omicron.
Outstanding weather, Thai baht to USD conversion great, ice cold beer in fridge, chilling by pool.
A productive afternoon on a vegan forum saw numerous abusive PMs received, before a final shitcanning and account deletion by Admin.
Possibly Admin Nev.
Will join ye for a nice beer now. :-)
Had a run-in with a 4 metre long Burmese python early yesterday morning and had to maintain it's position until the snake catchers arrived.
Job done and snake in a bag off to a new home, or so they told me.
Then carried on tiling, had a few beers, shower and dinner to complete my daily cheer.
Any pic? C’mon you know
Anyway your mancave must be coming along nicely now. Eh?
I forgot to bring a thread adapter for my tripod head, which meant I couldn't do any night pictures and had to hand hold my big lens. Anyway, looking through an assortment of bit and pieces, I found one on an old flash stand head I forgot I had. It's made my Christmas, having brought the big tripod along with me.
Starting the day with a full HW and several expressos.
Then it's off out to the city centre to finish my remaining Xmas shopping with the kids around the Christmas markets.
Looking forward to today.
Fuck Omicron.
What a difference a day makes.
Joined a smart new gym and got a long overdue release of endorphins for the first time in nearly two years.
Daughter got a part time job at the post office behind the counter.
Eldest has nearly finished cladding the interior of the mancave.
Drove past the ex and a group of her friends drinking cocktails in an expensive bar on my way to work and I didn't feel anything.
Onwards and upwards for 2022!
I've got a feeling its gonna be a great new year.
Shalom
All the be best then, glad to hear things are looking up.
