What's everyone doing to celebrate the festival this year?

A thread to post up your pics of the celebration...

I did a tour around Maprachan Lake this afternoon and it seemed most bars were gearing up for a big night with the girls making banana leaf floats and dressed in traditional outfits.

We also had a big thunder storm around 7.00 pm which may have dampened festivities.

Just arrived back from some meetings in Bangkok.

Massive thunderstorm and torrential rain in Banchang Rayong on early evening. Abandoned loy-ing the kratong this year.

I was hoping to see the celebrations in Stoke.

I was planning to pay money to dump some festive looking items in the river but decided to skip the middleman and just threw 2 days' worth of garbage into the klong.

I rinsed the garbage first, Dill... Some of it (I suppose) was even edible by klong-fish standards.

What's the Le Dalat Restaurant got to do with Loy Krathong?
