Casablanca
The Road Home (Zhang zi yi.((Horn Bag))
The life of Brian
If you were the one two
Platoon
Open Range.
But i can think of many others. Gone with the wind crouching tiger hidden dragon, shawshank, Apaloosa, Apocalypse now, saving private ryan, star wars, Wyatt Earp (Kurt Russell) etc.etc.etc.

Far too many to mention from a life time of watching movies.
It would have been better to specify a top 5 of a particular genre; war, comedy, action,
western etc.
Aliens
Star Trek II Wrath of Khan
Heat
The Bounty (1984)
Apocalypse Now
Ocean’s 11 Inches
Night of the Giving Head
Edward Penishands
The Bone Ranger
Good Will Humping

You might be thinking of Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World. I'm pretty sure he was not in any versions of The Bounty. Mel Gibson was in the 1984 remake.Originally Posted by Maanaam

Finally got around to watching this after Davis reminder. Kind of ahead of its time as a war movie in many ways.Originally Posted by Davis Knowlton
Nice footage of genuine Russian T34s and whistling death Vought Corsairs (even though they were never actually flown on the eastern front).
Seems strange that a ranking captain has no decorations. All the men in the company are wearing the iron cross 1st class and none the 2nd class which is also strange. The 1st class was a much rarer award than the 2nd class.
