Thread: What cheers you up?

Similar to "what was the highlight of your day"
but do you have something that for some reason known to you or not just cheers you up?
this could be anything at all...

For me it is seeing a midget!

I can't for the life of me explain why but i'll see one and the rest of the day i'll have a wry smile on my face!!??

marijuana usually does the trick.

A puff, a snack, my favourite tv program.

Being smiled at by a random Thai girl, never fails.

Somebody sending me a personal e-mail, message or comment which makes me laugh.

Getting my copy of the Economist magazine if and when it manages to find it's way here which is fucking intermintent however they are good at extending my subscription as I lose issues.

Scantily clad ladies in my immediate proximity does it for me.

Finding money I'd forgotten about. (in a pocket or drawer somewhere)

I get pleasure from reading about farangs who, in some inconsequential way, fail in Thailand.

eg
- go and live in Pattaya at some pointlessly young age.
- have territorial arguments - like Stickman and Galt.
- inflict minor financial shakedowns in wheeler-dealer style on each other

I like the existential angst. I think it reveals the human condition.
