^ Chalong Bay distillery
^^ Done it a couple of months back.
Rock up and have a complementary mojito.
See some boring posters on a wall.
Look at a couple of bored girls filling the bottles by hand behind a bit of glass.
Look at the big copper vat of fermenting booze.
Back to the bar for a taster (straight shots of about 4 different flavours, with cinnamon being the best) and buy some stuff to take home.
Was expecting a bit more factory-wise to be honest.
^ yep, it did drag a bit... dumped the family in Rawai Park and headed up alone.:)
Took me a while to find the car after the tasting and apparently it starts off at 70% proof but they wait til it drops to 40 so no-one goes blind.
They give you the mojito free, i say free but the tour costs around 14 of your yankee bucks.
I bought a small lemongrass infused one, as a Xmas pressie for some poor fucker.
Its one of those things...... like buying a wooden croaking frog, pointed hat, laser pen, singha vest or gruff voiced bargirl.... you do it only once........unless you're Chittychangchang.:)
Ahh, but then you'd never know that all sugar originally came from S.E. Asia and was taken to America by Christipher Columbus, only 5% of the world's rum is like theirs and made from 100% sugar cane and hangovers come from aroma, purity, quantity and something else.
Thinking about it, that tour would be the equivalent of
a night out with Jeff and Cyrille:)
^^^^ my back garden Dill you pervo :)
Certainly looks similar

^ Wonder what the neighbors think of such behaviour...?
^^
That would be a weekday pre drinks.
Always a welcome for Bruce & Lulus mum.
Tennents Super...memories are made of ...that.
'Serve Cold' and strip the varnish off your table.
In truth though, Merrydown Cider used to be the real gusset loosener.
One pound 39 pence of pure romance.
Bruce gets around.
Had a sweet tooth in my teens, Kestral Cider did the trick. Feel this way about it now

Do they still make blue can Tennents ? It used to be famous for inducing violence in its drinkers. Who, as they were on the street, provided daily entertainment as they threatened each other and small wimpy office workers.
Now the drink of choice is Stella as its a quid a can or Polish lager as it reminds them of the good times drinking in the street in the homeland.
I am currently drinking Stella in a pub in Catford.

To appease the missus I've started to have a daily cup of Oolong tea. Kill or cure. Anyone get any real benefit from this tea?
Here is the story behind it YD

It was a smoking good deal.
On correction from my original post in Impulse Buy The model is Heritage made by Acadia Spas in Aus.
^ does the exercise bike power the jacuzzi?
That'd be even more therapeutic watching the wife pedalling away:)
:smileylaughing:
You like your cocktails JP.
Have you seen peppermint over here. I want some with my cognac
Just googled and creme de menthe will do.
This was half the price of creme de menthe. From Vietnam.https://teakdoor.com/images/imported/2018/08/396.jpg
Should go down nicely with PAG's curry recipe tonight
Good for indigestion also:)
And brushing yer teeth.
Yeah Dil, I mix it up based on time of year and what I am doing( BBQing, Yard Work, Party at house, etc.) Certain times of year lead me to drinking a refreshing tall iced up cocktail as its quite refreshing. Other times Anejo Tequila "Neat" or Single Malt "Neat" fit the bill. My wife laughs at my liquor supply on hand. I also have pretty well stocked liquer and mixer supply including a couple of different bitters to change it up. She sometimes requests a cocktail. Years ago during my college era I used to be Bartender at a few large hotels.
Cheers.
I do like a nice long island iced tea, especially to bring me around after a heavy sesh the night before:)
I'm making a brandy an pep or stinger if its with that menthe stuff.

Fnnily enough It tastes like alcoholic Listerine:)
^ should help to remove the taste of ladyboy cum I would think :)
And that's the key. It's not about whether they were all added as much as the volume of each. A good Long Island is an oz of each thus when you add the top off its virtually a splash. However many bars add much less of each and top off with Soda water or coke to give it a tea like look. :)
Just googled that and Listerine is actually stronger at 26.9%.
Buddha days will never be the same again:)
This has gotta be Chitty......

A British ethanol "connoisseur" offered this mouthwash endorsement on the web: "Been drinking [popular consumer mouthwash] on the streets for ages now, gets you mashed good and proper. Best bit, it's cheap and makes you smell great. With four different colours and flavours, you just can't get bored with it. Nothing beats going down to the park on a Friday night and getting on it like a car bonnet with a bottle of [mouthwash] and getting mashed with your mates. It even comes with that cap that doubles as a shot glass. My favourite thought is [mouthwash] on the rocks. You can't beat that, and add an umbrella and you're south of the border."
Chitty's writing has improved.
