I enjoy going to Tawandang on occasion. Once a year is enough. :)
A local mom n pop shop has cans of Tawandang Rose and Weizen 4.9% (my tipple when there), has anyone had the Weizen, how is it compared to the imported European ones?

I wouldn't be drinking the poison any time soon of course, maybe 2 or 3 cans of the toxic venin at Christmas.

^ 3 for £6 at the coop, not a bad tipple.
Guinness with a kick saves having to have a whisky chaser.
Don't knock it til you've tried it...

That looks like the same guy as Fransiskaner beer
Most people grow out of drinking strong ciders after they finish their GCSEs.
Oh.
We used to drink 2 liter bottles of 6% cider during the summer aged 16.
The names Devil's Bit and maybe White Lightening seem to ring a bell.
We moved to beer at age 17 due to being male.
While I would never drink a cider at any alcohol level, I do agree that Beer between 6 to 7% abv is perfect. I have had some 10% IPAs when I visit my Dad, but they are strong and you seem to miss enjoying the IPA brew. If you drink 8% and above beer, just pass and enjoy a good Bourbon or Whiskey and save the calories . :)
Carlsberg Special Brew used to great exception to that rule, I don't know what they have done to it now, tastes like it has more glucose in it now.
Can't beat a Guinness and a Scotch
It's high time someone started a show us your pooves drink thread.
Make it happen Eddy
It's my present from Gert valentine gift so red beer. She has put up with me for 26 years.
As for the poofs drink Leo tried 1 bottle and thought feck that shite.
Fair enough. I was gonna say the rosé hoegaarden is too sweet for me. But they make damn good beers
Here we go... Also known as Black Velvet but a lot stronger...

After an excellent day....Pulled up a chair and cracked open a new bottle and enjoyed an outstanding Rye as the sunset.
Cheers
That IPA is nice good hoppy flavour with citrus undertones.
Oh feck Reg has made me woke posting gay beer review's.
^ He is a woke one, for sure.
This will probably be my last drink for a few weeks, apart from some cheap wine I can scrounge from a KLM stewardess.
Sometimes Leo just doesn't hit the spot, so I splashed out on this stuff for my last night of freedom. It was under 600 Baht as well so not a bad price for the 1847 vintage.
Dark berry fruit flavours, apparently.
