Completely agree with you, but I quite like that salt/chilli/sugar combo with some fruit. Until I overdo it and my mouth starts to blister. I first experienced that in Vung Tao at a Korean golf course club house.

I have been advised by medical authority to cut down on coffee, sugar and salt in order to lower my BP.
I ignored the fuckers and just upped my exercise regime.

Having restricted myself to one mug of coffee in the morning, without which I would surely die, I am now in tip top shape thank you.

No flowers just donations to the British Triathlon Trust, should such an organisation exist.

Big C stock Elle and Vire Beurre gastronomique, salted, which is the best butter I have found in Thailand by miles. I highly recommend anyone to try it.

The only picture I could find is of the unsalted variety

but as you will see on the link below, the salted has a green bar instead of the blue so as to avoind confusion.

    Butter Salted in foil 82%

we get that one in Indo also. it is good.

the locals prefer this cheap stuff.

I use Unsalted butter, never ever, margarine, marge is the foul concoction of mad scientists.
Marketing wankers give it various names like lite and Olive oil, its still marge, that foul tasting devils concoction.

dripping is healthy, margarine is not.
I have fond memories of my old man doing the Sunday break fast, fried eggs, bacon and fried bread, all fried in dripping.
Dripping has a bad rep, but check it out.

I prefer unsalted. I am not trying to avoid salt but just like to taste whatever it is I am eating. I think the quality of the bread effects the real taste.
Everything seems to have salt in it or garlic.
    Salt is for chips/crisps.

    ^^^ quality of bread.

Now I do like the healthier options but for a fried egg sarnie, standard square mothers pride pappy white bread is the only way for me.

    Same as egg on toast.

I was disappointed to learn there are no buttercups in butter.

Surprised the European Commission hasn't caught on to that one.

Margerine is indeed a creation of marketeers trying to use up the detritus of other processes to make money. They then launch an all out attack on butter convincing the world that butter is bad for you. Well, the body needs saturated fats, and the minimal amounts most people would eat each day in normal cooking and food preparation is about the right about of saturated fats you need.

That depends upon whether you consider recombinant bovine growth hormone (rBGH), or artificial growth hormone, which is used in some countries, including the US, to increase milk production by as much 25% is good for you. Canada and the EU have banned it.

I still drink milk but not as much as I used to since I have no desire to develop udders and begin lactating.
I see fish. They are everywhere. They don't know they are fish.

The dog had the shits for two days.
