Young people often do stupid things ( I know I did ) without thinking of any moral issues or the consequenses of what they are doing. It's not until things blow up in their faces that the penny drops as to why it is wrong. Maturity comes with age and there's not a lot of it in the adverage teenager.

I agree with Davis in as much as I would not be at all happy about it but would'nt be too hard on her until I had given her a warning about it, explained the consequences and possible dangers of what she was doing and got her to repay the money after fessing up to her amour. If she tried it on again ....well goodbye computer for starters, although with net surfing phones its impossible to police all the time.

i would say nothing, and then, in a while come to her, break down and confess that you have lost all your land and money to someone on the internet....

Ideally you would hope that there are not more email accounts around.

Download MessenPass: Instant Messenger Password Recovery Tool, check it and see if there are. There are two other programs you can download as well of a similar nature; run them all and if you find anything ask her is she other email accounts. Her answer will tell you all you need to know. Also search the hard drives for the email account names; might spring up MSN etc logs show messages; after all no one would send money just from emails so I assume skype and msn have featured here. Dig around for sim cards as well (2 phone girl?)

If she is good at it though, why not turn it into a cottage industry and go full on? If people are daft enough to send money to money to someone they do not know, then more fool them

A man I know showed me some email from a woman he was sending money to thinking I would be impressed by his generosity. He had only corresponded with her, had a soft heart and she needed money, so he sent it. The photos of the woman, if it really was a she, were taken in the seventies and not recently as he thought. It was a painfully obvious scam. For the life of me I couldn't imagine why anyone would fall for this kind of thing.

This man was also a great big asshole. It couldn't happen a more deserving soul. I thought at that time that I should get into the same business of scamming horrible men. If only I could make sure of the victims character first.....


Peter Pan, your unhappiness with your spouse is reasonable, but much worse things can happen in a marriage. This didn't have anything to do with you and you wouldn't have known if you hadn't been peeping into her email. You and your wife can work this out.
