Why do you think we are called 'The Rainbow Nation"!
Rainbow Nation or not, there's no excuse for calling your kids Chiliboy or Bismarck.
Anyway, relax, I'm just taking the mick.![]()
^^I am totally relaxed. Doesnt bother me what someone else calls their kid!
Any bloke called Bismark deserves 100 caps.
sorry wayne for not replying, i was on my way already.
it was a 6pm kick off, and a pretty dull game from the ozzies.
the ovel had no atmosphere at all. the sa supporters were louder.
was talking to a bloke who reckons all ozzie sports are fucked cos they are all wrapped in cotton wool, industry of sports, wives at all events blah blah blah......i agreed
anyho, good night out in perth afterwards.![]()
Is Robbie Deans copping some flack?
not sure, there was very little about it in yesterdays paper. im sure his head is on the block.
I've heard that it's not the best grund going for watching rugby; everyone's too far away from the action.the ovel had no atmosphere at all. the sa supporters were louder
I missed the game unfortunately, thanks to my focking neighbour.![]()
I don't think that Deans coaching style has anything to do with Australia's current form in fact they have been a weak side compared to the other powerful Rugby nations for the last 7 or 8 years.Originally Posted by Little Chuchok

As it stands Australia still needs a decent mobile hard front row and have to get rid of the fancy play and forced passes which invariably ends up in attacking breakdowns.
Maybe they can lure Sir Clive Woodward out of retirement and to show us how to win again!![]()
Let him re-destroy the game again?
50% of the SH teams are doing that already......
I don't know what the answer is mate but they have to do something (the aussies) as SH supporters are not as accepting of losing so often unlike our NH cousins!Originally Posted by Bobcock

Aussies certainly looked a demoralised bunch ... word here in Fiji is Aussie camp is all buggered up following the sacking of their favourite son, Lote Tuqiri (who was apparently caught shagging Robbie Deans' wife)
Ahem...Rugby: 'Bloodgate' scandal spreads to England team - Sport - NZ Herald News... England's international rugby union team face a probe by the Rugby Football Union (RFU) amid claims that faking blood injuries to gain tactical advantage has seeped into the international game...
...A source in the report says the alleged corrupt practices exist in the English top flight and the Six Nations.
"According to our investigations it (cheating) is fairly widespread," the Sunday Telegraph quoted the unnamed source as saying.
"What I do know is that some of the practices are occurring within international teams.
"Those teams are involved in the Six Nations and England have in the past been one of them."...
The relevance to Woodward and my comments?
Any actual facts in your quote?
Don't bet that someone in the SH, possibly even New Zealand has done such a thing...... and yes, it's appalling wherever it is done.
LOL...it's a classic isn't it....whenever a sporting hero falls from grace the old 'he was shagging the wife excuse' floats to the topOriginally Posted by Wayne Kerr
Same accusation was made when Mike Ruddock fell out with his team....
Gavin Henson's dropping from the Ospreys was once balmed on such a thing.....
Several other times too..... in this case the Fijian man needs to be portrayed as the big Fijian Shagger.....of course Tiquiri's dropping has nothing to do with his increasing lack of fitness, his ability to constantly break curfews and go drinking and his genuine lack of self discipline.......
Bobcock just because you can print out a schedule of matches d'not make you
the so called expert. If you know the game then you should know that S/Africa
changed their style significantly from a kicking game to one that kept the ball in hand more.[scored 4 good tries]S/A coach De villiers said our kicking game was outstanding as it always is!!!! Did they learn this from the poms or what?
Besides the poor Aussies have lost the knack of winning. RUGBY,CRICKET,SWIMMING and POCKET BILLIARDS.
Not that I'm bias.![]()

you'll have to be more specific, and also understand some of the banter that has gone on around the sport lately on this board.
But I'll happily have whatever debate you are seeking then you may find out what I think.......... until then your comments in relation to me are somewhat meaningless. Seeing as how I am yet to comment about Saturdays game I'll forgive you.
For the record it was a good game, not great, after all it was done and dusted by half time.
O.K. Bobcock,I'm apologetic for my rather limited reply, after taken the time to read
most of the comments relating to RUGBY I now know to read a thread in full before
any sarcastic statement.Still disagree that the POMS kill any game stone dead!!!!
The S/A squad is by far the strongest at the moment, with the Kiwi's and 'oz' rebuilding. So sorry mate, look forward to future rants /banter![]()
The Perth test, which was dire, is not enough to condemn robbie deans- he'd been generally considered to be foing a pretty good job as coaching up until then. One bad day does not a coach break.
The 'strategy' for Oz has been to rebuild the team moving towards the next World Cup. Whether they have the strength in players to achieve this, and be a serious contender, remains to be seen.
Fully agree with you, LOy Toy however seems to think Clive Woodward nearly killed rugby stone dead all on his lonesome.Originally Posted by isanyokel

You can't coach without the players and Deans doesn't have much to work with. Some promising backs who as i said at the beginning have now been around long enough to outgrow the 'promising' tag (exception O'Connor). They just aren't doing that.
Burgess is a disaster at Scrum Half and plainly not International quality. Matt Henjak you silly silly boy, you could be a star now but you have really wasted that talent!!!
A bit odd considering most Aussies I have spoken to in the last 6 years or so don't believe the world cup is as serious as the Tri Nations.Originally Posted by sabang
