I am not on anyone's coat tails. I made a comment, Bb replied and I replied to him.
Would hardly call that "hanging in there".

And what lies would that be ?

Is that right that Australia make two trips to South Africa this year without a test match series in either trip? One being T20 and the other ODIs?

How pointless is that? So when do Australia play Test Match Cricket again?

March 2016 - Australia tour of South Africa
    Matches: 5 ODI and 3 T20

    March/April 2016 - T20 World Cup
    Matches: 27 T20 in India

May 2016 - West Indies Tri Series
    Matches: 7 ODI
    Venue: West Indies

July/August 2016 - Australia tour of Sri Lanka
    Matches: 3 Tests, 5 ODI and 2 T20

Oct/Nov 2016 - South Africa tour of Australia
    Matches: 3 Tests

    Dec/Jan - Pakistan tour of Australia 2016-17
    Matches: 3 Tests, 5 ODI and 1 T20

So it looks like they are playing 9 tests between July 2016 and Jan 2017, which is probably less than the average they usually play each year.
Too many ODIs and T20s and not enough test matches. Would like to see them play a lot more in the lead-up to the Ashes in 2017.

Are you from Llanddewi-Brefi ? My Mother was from Brecon village, which is only about a 90 minute drive from Llanddewi-Brefi.
I am told Brecon can get bitterly cold and the SAS use the area for training exercises.

Don't boast of your lineage Mickmac! He hates to think that he shares DNA with any rough, athletic colonials!

Yes there is a big difference, that cricinfo site is hard to follow if you are looking for a specific team's itinerary.

Australia Cricket Team Future Tour Programs (FTP) Schedule

There is a search box at the top of the schedule, just select any cricket playing country to see their itinerary.

Now you have me worried, thinking about his DNA and my DNA and how similar they are.
And as much as I don't have a problem with having Welsh lineage, there are some out there who would call it an admission, not a boast.
Some of my Pommy mates come to mind.

Bollox, we are regularly beaten my minnows at football, rugby, all sorts of sports - don't think for one second you convict bastards are special... Talking about populations, that tiny 3 million Kiwi nation, are your 20 million+ Australian Superheroes (every last man, woman and dog of them) planing to beat them at rugby (union or league) any time soon???

That's not an arrogant comment (if indeed he said it), it's just a stupid comment. All Ashes series should be 5 matches.

I don't think the two are related.

Yes, you are all thick as fuk Convicts, no offence.

England, well Britain generally, the mighty, nay the Great, also has it's fair share of idiots - we should've sent more over there when we had the chance...

The next Ashes series should be a cracker. The Convicts are improving, and so are we. We probably have further to go, but as usual, the first game will really set up the series and be crucial.

Funnily enough, the last test series in Convictland was a slaughter, but he had chances to win the first two games until the utter bastard king of bastards Haddin walked out - I'm pleased that bastard has retired...

I take your insults as a compliment Bb, as does Mr Haddin.
I would rather you were "on the offensive" than being sympathetic.
Cannot wait for the first Ashes test to start, the whole country looks forward to the "old foe" coming out, it is the biggest sporting event in our calendar.

(I have a theory about the convict settlement. If the Poms had half a brain they would have left all the crims to suffer on that damp little island and moved out to The New Country and made a killing out of the wealth of resources and land)

Fact is Betsy there will always be some Aussie who will stand up when the going gets tough. It's a convict thing.

Just as a matter of interest who is your new pet/ hated convict player now that most of your past nemesis's have retired?

Your esteemed nomination will go a long way towards making him a match winner!

    Smith is a classless kunt...

By the time the next Ashes is here Root will be firmly set as the no.1 batsman in the world.

If we had done that then Convictland would not be full of wahabi mosques, Etonites, Chavs, Chavettes, and Sydney would look like East Croydon while Melbourne would look like Islamabad. I prefer Convictland as it is...

Now, I won't make a prediction for the next Ashes tour (although LT wants me too...), but I hope we get some good matches; I suspect we need to find a couple of bowlers from somewhere if we wanna win it. Maybe Barbie will be ok, but Mr Anderson is past it, imho and will offer nothing in Convictland. Our tall fella, if he is fit should be fine, and our Kiwi Botham is improving his bowling, but I'd like at least one more fast and furious frontline bowler.

^ I bet there are batsmen and captains all over the world who would love to have the stats that classless fellow has.
And I am glad you are pinning your hopes on Rooty, very glad.
I am sure if the Poms had left the crims behind and took Australia for themselves, all the natives from the many countries England had exploited over the ages, India, Pakistan, West Indies etc would have eventually followed them 'ome and haunted them. And the heat and flies would not have bothered them

Yeah, but we've got some secret weapons which'll bring the Ashes home:

The beards, you'd better fear the Beards!

They will need more than quality bloody beards, and I hope it is a long hot summer.

I see Smith and Hazlewood were fined 30% of their match fees for dissent and Warner is whining about the crowd saying beastly things to him.

    What a hypocrite!
