I paid just under 600 Euros for my flight and hotel to get there the other week.

It was worth every cent in a cracking city to see the reds win away.

But I missed the 3rd goal.

Went for a jimmy and a lad at the end of the row said 'you'll miss us scoring the next.'

    And so I fucking did.

That's like 100 Euros of me trip wasted.

You could donate that to the club Hal.

It's not like they don't need it.

Hounded out their greatest manager ever, sacked a man with European pedigree, then hired the Spanish Tony Pulis and said trust the process because he brought speakers to the training ground and bought a dog.

I'm thinking of restarting my Save Amorim campaign Hal.

Or do you want it to be a Bring Back ETH campaign? Or Bring Back OGS?

    It's so confusing.

    Well, hopefully we won't.

But I was also hoping you lot wouldn't let me down this year and would win the league.

    I'll know better next time.

Never in the history of European competition has a final been played between two teams so out of form.
The winners of Wednesday's Europa League final between Manchester United and Tottenham in Bilbao could be the lowest league finishers ever to win a major European trophy.
And they will certainly become the lowest team to ever qualify for the European Cup or Champions League.
United sit in 16th place in the Premier League, with Spurs 17th - and a combined 39 league defeats.
The only league games either have won since 2 February have been against sides who were relegated - or each other.
Their points tally could have had them relegated in some previous seasons.
    Shalom

    Here.

Even trophy collectors have the season off now and again.

That was shite, but Spurs defended well.

Cunha signing from Wolves next week.

    Roll on next season!

Nah, I'm fatter than that at the moment.

    Enjoyed that comp this year.

A welcome bonus with some cracking memories during a shit season.

Disappointed to miss out on another pot, of course.

Not actually *that* arsed though, funnily enough, when I think of all the disappointments I've had seeing us lose titles on the last day and other finals.

The season begins next year with Ruben at the helm with his own team.

    PSR completely changes the picture.

You'll start next season mostly with the same ingredients and a chef cooking up a meal even Chitty would blush at.

    I'll bet we don't.

There's always a chunk of money to be spent at a club that makes as much as we do, and you'll see the first evidence of that when Cunha signs for 63 million next week (with the payments spread over a number of years).

There's also the not insignificant sum of 100 million plus on the way for Anthony, Rashford and Sancho. Plus he, sadly, doesn't seem to fancy Garnacho.

    There's another 80 mil.

And, just as importantly, plenty coming through our ever dominant academy over the next few years, many of whom they'll probably look to sell for pure profit, mind.

So, yeah, there'll be money there but not with licence to throw it around like confetti.

Although it would be great, of course, if we one day weren't saddled with servicing the Glazer debt (1 BILLION quid so far)...

He's been our best player for years, but I wouldn't entirely rule out flogging Fernandes either.

115 million Al Hilal are offering, which wouldn't have been considered if we were in the CL, but that would basically negate this loss.

Whatever happens, there will be changes and more physicality in the side come August (Eriksen, Lindelof and big Jomny Evans out of contract too).

Cos fucking ell I can't put up with watching these players in this system much longer...
