And if they had lost last night: Callings for the manager's head on a pole.
Ups and downs, eh ?
Don't confuse the media leeches and their sensationalist United clickbait for ABUs with the best fans in the country.
From the first minute to the last last night: Erik Ten Hag's Red and White Army.

Oh, I love being right about United almost as much as I love United.![]()
Being serious and not bantering for a moment, last night was our best Premier League performance of the season and we were excellent going forward and much better at the back in the 2nd half.
Chelsea created almost nada in the second 45, but we were very open at times in the first. It was like Istanbul last week minus the goalkeeping mistakes; two very heartening games for the process with the front players pressing well and creating chances (mostly missed by Garnacho last night who was otherwise excellent and a constant danger).
In Ten Hag we trust. I'm enjoying it. Proactive and intense.
BUT the solution currently is actually part of the problem: Scott McTominay. Or rather Scott and Bruno. Amrabat had his best game last night and was excellent in the 2nd half, but the play is so attack-minded that we are always open to the counter.
Neither McTominay nor Fernandes are sitting players who can control a game. And Fernandes aint gonna get dropped. In the continued absence of Casemiro, it will surely have to be Mainoo and Amrabat at the expense of McTominay when we go to Anfield and Villa Park later in the month.
But how do you drop a player in the form of his life?
What football though!
What a manager!
What a club!

Indeed.
Clearly Ole was a better manager than Sir Matt Busby and Sir Alex Fungusson - the above statistics clearly prove it!![]()
He did like a sunbed...

^ Remember a player regaling that they'd be told on the training pitch that he was away. Then would look up and see a purple glow from his office.![]()
A quality fella (although, I'm not sure I'd want him as my team's manager...).
Or head of the Racial Integration Unit.
I thought he called Desailly a 'big black bastard' or 'big black foker' or something to do with 'Big black ....'. Seems it was a bit more than that.
Referring to the underwhelming performance of the French defender, Atkinson said: "He's what is known in some schools as a fucking lazy thick nigger." Atkinson's conversation was picked up by microphones that should have been switched off once the broadcast from the stadium had concluded.

Oh dear... You can say he's from another age, but that's shockingly poor. I wonder what he thinks of the Pogba/Sancho/Rashford approach to being a professional footballer?
Edit to add a few more:
Following his sacking from Atlético Madrid, club president Jesús Gil claimed Atkinson had racially abused his own player, Donato, during his final game in charge of the club against Barcelona in January 1989.[10]
Atkinson said to an audience at Hillsborough Stadium: "The Chinese people have the best contraception in the world - their women are so ugly. I can't understand why there are so many of them."[25]
On Celebrity Big Brother in 2013, he jokingly asked fellow contestant, Irish doctor Danielle Marr, "you're not carrying a bomb with you, are you?", when she draped her jumper over her head like a headscarf.[26][27]
