    Dude, give it a rest.

he ran out of gas having carried the team offensively for 3 gms straight, torching curry, thompson, green, iggy, durant...anyone who gs threw at him. he also messed up his knee, which didnt help matters.

you seriously cant see that curry is a C U N T? the dude pretended he took a crap on the floor after his teammate hit a big shot. who does that?

I don't understand that comment. I didn't care who won at all. GS or Cavs. I could care less. The only naysaying I was doing was my opinion that the league is about as fun to watch as paint drying these days

a year ago he sure did. This year he ran out of gas... Its called constructing a team. The Warriors did it in the off season. The Cavs tried after the all star break but failed. They should have been called the Gerry's for geriatric.

Curry was a floor general in the last game and also dropped 35 with 10 assists and 8 boards. Try to set your prejudice aside.

GS is picked the championship next year.

I can see why some think the league is dull now.

No need for one for the NBA, AO.

The NBA is a predictable bread and circus event.

No, he wrote "How to jump on the bandwagon when your hometown team has a god run."

    Here today, gone tomorrow.

That's not likely to happen, AO. He's had a man-crush on Erving since his time at Duke.
Clutch players don't go 0-6 when the NBA championship is on the line, no matter how tired they are.

The very definition of a choke artist.

    ^poorly done troll job, bb.

everyone with half of brain knows irving is a top 3 clutch player in the nba already.

btw, decent chance slicky rick loses his title...aint that a shame.

they got off light, though. should have been suspended for an entire season and lost scholarships for 2-3 years.

a floor general? his assists amounted to backing up and tossing the ball to wide open guys named durant, iggy, and klay. he went 2-9 from deep and missed 20% of his FTs after getting some touchy trips to the line. durant won the gm...AGAIN.

curry shot 44% for the series. kyrie shot 47%. kyrie went against FAR tougher D, had FAR less space to work with, and still scored more and shot a higher % from everywhere except the FT line.

but this guy named durant bailed out curry so steph wouldnt lose face yet again in the finals. and somehow the affected golden boy who pooped on the floor escapes unscathed yet again.

I read this year about the problems with the Knick and the triangle offense. You NBA folks can clarify:

The Triangle Offense can work very well if you players like Shaq, Kobe, and some of the other top lakers, but for other teams it often doesn't as well or well at all.

And Carmelo Anthony does not have to leave.

Knicks, Phil Jackson to part ways Wednesday, sources say
    4:10 PM WIB
    Ramona Shelburne
    ESPN Senior Writer

The New York Knicks and team president Phil Jackson will announce that they're parting ways early Wednesday morning, sources told ESPN.

Conversations about what was best for the team's future between Jackson and Knicks owner James Dolan accelerated this week when the franchise decided it would not buy out embattled forward Carmelo Anthony, sources said.

Carmelo Anthony's estranged wife, La La, said on "The Wendy Williams Show" on Tuesday that the Knicks star's top priority going forward is to remain close to their son, Kiyan.

Jackson, 71, had made it well known that he felt it was best for Anthony and the organization to part ways, both publicly and privately, but Anthony refused to waive his no-trade clause, and the Knicks were determined not to accommodate any request for a buyout. Anthony has two years worth over $54 million remaining on his deal.

With no end to the stalemate in sight, and free agency beginning on July 1, Jackson's discussions with Dolan accelerated late Tuesday night and the decision was made to part ways.

Some close to Dolan had been pushing him to consider firing Jackson for much of the season, sources told ESPN's Ian Begley.

It had become clear, sources said, that Jackson had no plans to remain beyond the two years left on the five-year contract he initially signed in 2014. So with no clear path forward from the toxic situation with Anthony, a constant public relations war over Jackson's preferred triangle offense, and new concerns about the organization's relationship with Latvian phenom and 2015 No. 4 overall pick Kristaps Porzingis, sources said it was clear things had reached a breaking point by the eve of free agency.

Several players and members of the coaching staff had expressed frustration over Jackson's insistence that the club run more of the triangle offense midway through last season
    , sources told Begley.

This is why you have 4 red cabbages, you hardly follow the NBA and you know shit about Phil Jackson and the Knicks. But yet you post it up, so you have something to and respond to this thread. Across the whole board there are shit threads started up by you....At least you get called out on it in the form of reds..

It really is painful to see what a shit poster you have become...You dont have a clue about much mate.

    Here's an explanation.

I'm following the NBA again after years of not following from when the Sonics moved and when I was an expat.

    I'm interested in this story.

I don't know much about Phil Jackson now, but he's been in the league for a long time and he was "Mr. Triangle Offense" - I stand to be corrected.

I don't know much about the Knicks. Only watched a couple games.

Now....can you answer my query or are you just going to complain.

You didn't answer my honest question - because YOU as well don't know shit about Jackson and the Knicks.

You only know your team, and your a bandwagon supporter.

    Ding, ding!

if they can gel (and there's no reason to think they can't), then they could end up as the top seed in the east again this year.
