I think that Chuchok's taking the phish there a little bit*. Blues fans are long suffering.
*Or not... North of the Bombays they are all born with one eye.

^^ I was taking the piss,Betts.
^ I know, but if they went on a run now they could make the play offs (don't think it'll happen, but they're not miles away; well, maybe).
Don't you dare say anything bad about that lovely man Ben Smith!
Halftime and the Hurricanes are tearing the Lions a new one:
5 - 36
the lion got shredded
I wasn't playing in the game, geezerWell done Baas....
Mr Lord of the Rings, part 3, Return of the Queens wasn't very good under the high ball yesterday; maybe he is losing his mojo???Originally Posted by Little Chuchok
Warratahs got a good win, but should the Saffer have been sent orf?
Watching the Rugby over the weekend and am really impressed with the Kiwi passing and ball management.
When comparing them to the Aussie sides the aussies make many errors, school boy stuff with their passes looping and not like the Kiwis accurate torpedo passes.
The Brumbies were horrible again yesterday and streets behing the Highlanders in most departments.
The reds played better but then again they were playing a weak saffer side.
^ speaking to me horrible little brother, who played in CKBland then came back to Leicester under Bob Dwyer, her reckons that CKBland is night and day as far as developing ball handling skills with England (Presumably, Dwyer had an Aussie style of training?). Has been for a very long time, and still is although we are learning nowadays in England and our under 20s have done well for a few years now playing good (Kiwistyle?) rugby, so we have players like Maro Itoje coming through who'd probably have a chance of getting into a Kiwi starting lineup (one day...).
At grassroots level, the CKBs just have better coaches and better training methods which instill ball playing skills for life.
Cycling should be banned!!!
Not to say that you're wrong but it's even more than that also I reckon.Originally Posted by Bettyboo

ROUND 11:
Friday 6 May
14:35 Crusaders v. Reds
16:45 Brumbies v. Bulls
Saturday 7 May
12:15 Sunwolves v. Force
14:35 Chiefs v. Highlanders
16:45 Waratahs v. Cheetahs
20:00 Sharks v. Hurricanes
22:10 Kings v. Blues
Chiefs v Highlanders could be a good 'un, I'm completely split on who I'd like to see win it though. Divided loyalties.
OK, these are all good games.
I'd like to see the Crusaders get 10 tries to start the weekend off. Later Brumbies v Bulls; wouldn't like to call it - I'll go with the Bokkers just because I like the Bokker teams.
I'd like to see the 'Landers beat up the Chiefs and roll them over. I'd also like to see the Sharks get another win under their belt. &, lastly, just to put some cheese in the Convict roll, the 'Tahs should put on a performance and get back on track; let's hope the coach plays the fullback at fullback and a centre at centre...
Annnnnd... it begins.
'Saders 14 - 0 up over the Reds before the eighth minute.
This could be like watching someone kicking a poor, helpless, puppy.
Interesting. My cousin went out to dinner with Grant Fox a few weeks ago. (Some raffle thing) As you will know, Grant is a current AB selector.
He told me that foxey was an open book.Just amazing.Answered ever question honestly about the AB's.
The obvious question came " Why did we win the World Cup" Answer was "Because we catch, pass and run better than everybody else." He said that physically, mentally, the AB's were the same as everybody else....just better skills. Simple as that.
^ yeah, basic skills taught properly throughout every age group leads to players who can catch and pass and make decisions under pressure at club and national level. The Kiwis have always been miles ahead in this area.
BTW, I think little brother played for this club around 1987/88? http://taurangasports.co.nz/ He was selected for the regional team at the end of season, but decided to come back and sign for Leicester instead (English champions at the time). He said that in backs training for the first couple of weeks until he acclimatized that he was permanently being told he was out of position, but he felt the rest of the backs (many England internationals) were a couple of yards too far back, too slow at coming up, didn't chase kicks properly, etc, so he was effectively penalized for playing a style of rugby that English clubs hadn't embraced yet - they were years behind kiwi club teams positionally and technically...

Long may it continue.
Highlanders in control over the Chiefs 8 - 23 with about 15 min left to play.
Mixed emotions.
Highlanders deservedly infront, playing really well.
I caught a glance at the standings for the Australasian Conference earlier and the Brumbies are currently 2nd and the Chiefs following that loss 5th.
What the fuck is that about. Presumably it works by magic.
