Good grief man, we'll get mullered if we play like that against Italy and Uruguay.

Smalling in particular looks petrified every time the ball comes near him.

Barkley won't of course start ahead of Rooney for the Italy game, but maybe he should. Three goals in five games for Lambert too, so there were pluses.

In central defence and central midfield the back up is poor. In other areas I think it's pretty decent.

That game was just a run out for the back up players remember, harry.

What are the odds for us losing all three games, possibly without scoring a goal?

One win in the last seven away games now.

I keep waiting for Wilshere to have a decent game.

Surely it has to happen eventually.

The classic English problem.They have to play for real in the Premier League. Getting hammered in an international isn't worth as much.
