Costa back for the Manure game
Transfer him out at your peril
Well that was...interesting.
Things are certainly opening up.
I suppose now it depends on whether you're in the aguero and costa camp or the pelle, costa and expensive defender camp.
The pelle, costa, aguero and totally cheapo defenders could be feasible too if you still have your wildcard I guess.
To my shame I was actually hoping aguero wouldn't get up at one point.
i'm surprised Aguero hasn't gotten injured yet.....i know the minute i transfer him in the hammy will go.
took a gamble on the captain this week ciz i was feeling your pain when Cisse blasted the ball into the side netting from 5 feet.
Yeah, I could use a break.
At least he paid off the hit with 4 points more than Ulloa.
I'm also convinced that as soon as Aguero joins my team he'll be crocked, and if I sign him it will only be for that reason.
Pelle - it all seems so bloody obvious afterwards, eh?
Oh, and just to complete the evening I transferred Naismith out in ultimo by mistake instead of Costa - losing a point in the process.
I'm blaming it on a long day of IELTS testing.

That's a good summation. Noon, even with Aguerro as captain hasn't mustered more points than Jof or I with half our teams (most of it template) because his defence only scored 7 points to my 21 with (Moreno to go) and Joffers's 28 points.
I'd rather have Aguerro than not, but I'm not sure with his legs that the points hit and the shite defence and/or midfield big-hitter departure gamble that he'd be worth it in the long run.

i can get Aguero in for free......would involve losing Costa though..
he'll be rested for the CL game midweek and raring to go vs the dodgy manure defence.
Pelle and Welbeck could easily do better than both of the big boys next gw too.
A striker is always more likely to get a major haul than a defender though.Originally Posted by Jimmy McNulty
Really not sure Everton have enough stability defensively except when playing teams as bereft in attack as Villa.
It could be months until Baines has another haul like that.
Me too.Originally Posted by Jofrey

True...but Aguero is made of matchsticks and glue. It would take more than just swapping out Baines for a 4.5 to mzke up the deficit of 5m or so for Aguero though.
To make up the rest, you'd also have to either go cheap on one forward and go 3-5-2 or 4-4-2 or drop one of the high ownership midfielders like Di Maria or Fabregas. How does it balance out ultimately?
For me it balances out between either taking a minimum 16 point hit or sticking my fingers in my ears and praying Aguero gets crocked.
Then again, maybe Pelle can match him over the course of time. I've barely seen Southampton yet this season.
The return of Ramsey and imminent return of Wally add further spice to the mix.
The next few weeks should be interesting now we've got the international bollocks out of the way for a while.
Fucking Moreno didn't play last night. The bastard son of Gerrard and Alonso may be getting fucked off. He's been rubbish except for the first week anyway.
^ Don't panic, I had Caulker with his injury time OG. Gonna keep him for 1 more game against the Villa and ditch his sorry ass.
Ive ditched Mata for next weeks Chelsea game. He's bound to score against his old team now
Oh, I thought we were discussing the 2014/2015 season.Originally Posted by Dillinger

Myhill in for Foster.
Bad news for jof, who loses a point courtesy of Mannone.

Hope no one panic sold Costa?
Glad I got rid of Mata, he's shite and wont get a look in when Rooney's back
2 great finishes by Albion last night, looks quality does Berahinho and the best sub 6m striker, will wait until i get another free transfer and off Ulloa for him, although Albion do have a nice few fixtures coming up... hmmmmm
Di Maria out for Glenn Whelan.Originally Posted by W Sydney Wandererers

Yeah, a good game and a fair result.Originally Posted by Dillinger
Sessegnon was even better than Berahino I thought.
Shaw confirmed that it wasn't his lack of fitness that kept him out...more a lack of tactical awareness. He really struggled with the lack of cover from Di Maria.
