Eubank wins in round 3.
But the likes of Golovkin or Alvarez would find him predictable and easy to hit.
He needs a better class of trainer.

^He is seeded 3rd in the Super Middleweight super series tournament that this fight took place in. George Groves is seeded 1st, so an all-UK fighter final may be on the cards.
George Groves should beat fellow Brit Jamie Cox next week, to set up the fight, but could prove a bit too ringwise for Eubank.
Eubank needs a trainer to get him to the next level though.
^He needs to get rid of his silly old, ego-driven Dad Eubanks Snr to get taken seriously by anyone outside the UK, tbh. Can't see it happening though.
The other thing is, he can't fight exactly like his dad as he's built differently, taller. That classic move -3 fast left jabs then slipping down to the right - became so predictable on saturday it was embarrasing.
Predictable for me watching, obviously not for the Turk, who was European level at best.
Well Groves knocked out Cox in the 4th.

I forgot this was last night, but was telling my mate on thursday that Groves should be knocking these kinds of level fighters over within 5-6 rounds.
I still say Groves beats Eubank Jr.
This could well be the factor in this bout:
Groves gave Carl Froch problems a couple years back, well that was until he was knocked out spectacularly, but we all know how good Froch was.George Groves told Eubank Jr that the 28-year-old was "not big enough" to trouble him in the last four.

^Really? I disagree with you.
You wanna fight about it?

Which one is you?
Did you watch the Groves fight?
Put down by a body shot, soft git.
Those body shots take a moment to register, and just as you think ''oh he hit me in the liver/floating rib/solar plexus but I'm ok'' the pain cuts you almost in 2. That'll hurt for about 2-3 weeks maybe a month. I got hit with 14oz gloves without full force in the ribs years ago. You learn to sleep flat on your back without turning for a while, because one slight turn and the pain stabs you...
Better to get hit in the face.
BTW I have the shield and manbag
Not seen much of Eubanks Jr, but the last time I watched Groves he fought really well to overcome previously unbeaten Russian Fedor Chudinov. Groves sustained a broken jaw early on and rallied to stop a ferocious fighter and finally pick up a (WBA) Super Middleweight World title. So he's seeded #1 in this tournament for a reason. Eubanks only fight against a legit top 10 fighter was a loss to Billy Joe Saunders, so I'll bet you a couple of beers on this, harry..
Speaking of Billy Joe Saunders, he has just signed up to fight Canadian slugger David Lemieux. Should be a great fight (Lemieux is a hell of a puncher), and hopefully get Saunders rather lacklustre career back on track.

Should be a popular fight.
Groves will face Eubank Jr in January or February, with promoters Sauerland, organisers of the Muhammad Ali Trophy, assessing several venues for the showdown: Stamford Bridge, Craven Cottage, Emirates Stadium, the Amex Stadium, London’s 02 Arena and the Manchester Arena.
WBO welterweight holder Jeff Horn is fighting Gary Corcoran in Brisbane next month in defence of his belt.
The former teacher will give Cory, the self proclaimed hell raiser, a boxing lesson in the noble art.
Horn wants to fight Terence Crawford early next year so has to win to have a crack at him.
^Shame he can't get a big-money rematch with Pacquiao. Hopefully, he gets some money in a domestic interest fight with Corcoran, because he loses his belt and gets hammered against Crawford.
^
Kmart, you are right about Horn wanting to chase a big payday, but i don't think a rematch with Pacquiao is going to happen.
Pac,like most of the boxing press thought Horn was to be a lamb to slaughter with a easy few mill to go to Pac.
Bob Arum,Pac'c promotor seems to think he will retire and not risk another loss to Horn, but Horn has to win and hope Crawford wants a blue with him.

Should be a good fight
It seems the Joshua fight is on after midnight here in the Sandpit, ergo stupid o'clock in Thailand.
Must remember to tape it.
