^ You discount France too freely. They might be a shower of shit right now but when has that ever stopped them suddenly turning it on and spoiling an English street party.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves and assume that England will not get a GS and thus remove the accusations of arrogance which will be winging their way soon.

Well, I am 100% wrong with my predictions over the weekend and I guess in the wash-up England are looking pretty good to win the grand slam.

Didn't see the Eng game myself but apparently it was a pretty dour affair.

Here's hoping the Froggies finally cut loose and ruin the party, allez le bleus!

I have to agree.

I thought Scotland played OK against England and were duly done over. Scotland in their second game won impressively against a team who had beaten France the week before.

Ireland beat Wales and England had no problems beating them easily.

England have a very strong squad and based upon form will walk in the Grand Slam and make up the majority of the Lions first team.

France should get put away, but Wales at the Smellenium? No push over and it's the last time to stake a lions shirt claim as well. That game will be on, and no matter how people write them off, they are not shit and they will come out fighting. To suggest a GS is in the bag is frankly daft.

far too much politics will be involved though in keeping the Welsh camp happy when their daddy Warren and Uncle Rob give them all a couple of fuck off tablets into the midweak side. Ireland will have a good showing, as will England. Jocks have a cuouple so then you need a couple of Welsh. Halfpenny is likely, and Gats will go for a 7, so Turmeric might get the nod. Wood should be the captain.

I don't doubt that the welsh will have squad members on tour but as I believe the core Lion's squad will be a fairly young fit one I doubt the Taffs will get a run in the big games.

Pocock / Gill / Hooper will be too busy picking themselves off the deck and crying to the ref to notice. You put McCaw above those chaps, and he was shut out of that game (and the i had that 24 hr virus one - it lasts....24 hrs... no excuse ... NZ was schooled and owned at the same time) lol
