both ok - a little bit thin and suffering from the standard french requirement to have an angst romance subplot

black snow - queensland cop show about a cold case detective - has not been too bad , though they should also have forgone the subplot for the detective

Turned that off after 15 minutes; terribly directed. I have quite a lot of friends who are small time directors (one was a winner of a Busan film festival award for directing) and PhDs in film/media studies, etc - they like some really strange (crap?) stuff, but none of them liked this film.

'Farang' - tried it - subs in English avaiable (4) only work for parts of the movie. First 10 minutes in French - then Thai - occasional subs - then muttered English - will wait for the dubbed version !!!!

Sheridan Smith leads this wacky tale of a plane that goes missing (or does it?).

Flips between timelines but they're nice enough to stick a Now or a Then on the screen so you can keep up without too much problem.

Given the mess from the strikes, at least it's something to binge.
