Not so much a recommendation as a whinge but...

I've been really looking forward to 'All Or Nothing: The All Blacks' which is basically one of those embedded-fly-on-the-wall type sports docos on the normally highly secretive All Blacks team, filmed over a year of following the 'winningist team in sports'.

So anyways it has been released on Amazon Prime (six episodes) so I thought I might as well sign-up and subscribe to that so I could watch it. Yet for some unfathomable and unexplained reason it lists episodes #2 and #6 as "unavailable" which pretty much renders watching #1, 3, 4, and 5 pointless.

Bezos, you cnut, what the fuck is that about!?

Edit: all of which does remind me though, the new series of Hard Knocks (NFL preseason) should be out soon. That's always a good watch.

Re-edit: I think it's the Browns this season.

Re-re-edit: Yup just checked, it's the Browns.

Hmmm curioser and curioser... So it must be related to geo-blocking for some reason?

Can't see why. Have you watched those episodes? Maybe it's because they have content from the Lions tests or something.

There's only one possible explanation... Bezos is trolling me.

Well played Jefrf, well played. You win this round.

Someone mentioned The Man In The High Castle again recently.

Gave up after a few episodes a few years ago, and went back to it yesterday. Damn well happy that I did.

good show to fill the void until something decent is produced again.

This afternoon watched "A Quiet Place", a horror/thriller starring Emily Blunt (not normally my kind of movie) that M'Sahib had heard about and wanted to watch. Actually quite good.

    Trailer:

and download (this version includes English subs as the movie is almost silent the whole way through).

Sense8 is a Wachowski brothers/sisters/brother and sister Sci-Fi series that got cancelled. It finished at a loose end and, such was the clamour, they wrote a one-part wrap-up to finish it off nicely which Netflix agreed to.

    ......

It has a credible twist, basically doesn't it.

If you've not got one of those in your budget crime thriller then spare me, please.

    Well written characters too.

I'm upping my rating to 8.
